We hired Gail as our wedding photographer and she did an outstanding job!
We met with Gail 6 months prior to the wedding to talk. We had a venue booked, and a date, and that was about it — we didn’t really know what else we were doing. When Gail asked what time we needed her to arrive on our wedding day, we had no idea. Of course, Gail is so accustomed to weddings that she ended up planning our day-​of schedule for us in order to figure out when she needed to arrive. So, we got some wedding planning help as an added bonus.
Gail takes beautiful, non-​gimmicky, photojournalistic wedding photos. My sweetheart is not a person who loves a camera, but Gail made him feel at ease, and even got him to smile for a few pictures.
Gail is unobtrusive, which was very important because we got married in a small side room at a restaurant which was a tight squeeze already. Gail didn’t get in the way at all, she was like a photo-​ninja and took outstanding photos without me even noticing that she was taking them.
Gail alerted us that she would take a little longer than usual on editing and sending us our photos because of a planned trip. Even though she gave us a heads-​up on the timing issue, she still offered us a photo print credit for the delay. Gail delivered our photos in less than two months of the wedding, and all the photos look awesome.
Gail has no gimmicks, no goofy suggestions for weird Pinteresty photos (unless you’re into that, which is fine, and I’m sure she’d support you 100%). She takes good photos, is wonderfully calm and kind, and is a pleasure to spend time with!

Gail was the photographer for our engagement photos (fall 2013) and wedding (summer 2014). We couldn’t be happier with the work she did. She was very accommodating with two people who are not terribly comfortable in front of a camera. She trudged all over the South Loop and Logan Square with us for the first shoot and worked so hard during the wedding. The photos for both sessions turned out wonderful and Gail captured all of the shots we wanted. Delivery of the photos — electronic and printed — couldn’t have gone easier.

We hired Gail to take pictures of our newborn son in January 2014 and she did a wonderful job! On a day when no one else was out because of the snow, Gail arrived on time and worked wonderfully with our son within the confines of our apartment. Her talent with the camera was apparent from the start, and was borne out in the beautiful pictures we received a few weeks later. I would happily work with Gail Reich again for any photography needs we have!

We first used Gail as our photographer for our wedding in August of 2010. At the time she was working with another studio, but she was our main contact the entire planning process. I met with her while in town (I live in Denver), and she continued to keep constant contact with me until my wedding date.
She was prompt in arriving at the hotel to take pre-​ceremony pictures of myself and my bridesmaids, she then took pictures of my husband and the groomsmen, and family members preparing for the wedding, and of course the ceremony and reception. She caught the emotion of every single moment! From the silly, to the first tear out of my mother in law’s eyes putting on my husband’s boutonnière. She even showed us which utensil to use when cutting our cake. She always told us if something was out of place or we needed to change our poses. Her attention to detail is impeccable. We always get SO MANY Compliments on our wedding pictures! People always ask if I was married in Europe, and I got married in a courtyard in St. Charles. She is that amazing at capturing the beauty of the surroundings.
We loved her so much we used her for a family shoot for my Grandmother’s Christmas present the very next year! She was GREAT with my then 5 month old son, and did an awesome job of working with such a large family. And I always ask when she’s coming to Denver next, so she can take pictures of my two boys. I cannot speak highly enough of Gail Reich and her photography! Simply Amazing!

Gail photographer our son when he was 9 months old and did such a fantastic job. We were so pleased with the photos. He wasn’t the easiest model to work with — and refused to smile in most of the photos, but Gail was super patient and kind and was able to coax a few grins out of him. She was also able to capture some of his more «serious» looks in a really beautiful way. We would absolutely recommend her if you’re looking for someone to take photos of your children/​family!

We used Gail as our wedding photographer and she was amazing. First of all, she is the most unintrusive photographer I’ve ever seen. At one point my brother actually came up to her to tell her this is the first time he had not been annoyed by the wedding photographer. During the ceremony, she didn’t stand in front of people blocking the view which was also appreciated by the guests. Also, Gail is very fast which we very much appreciated considering it was cold outside and we didn’t want to make people freeze. And no one wants to spend the entire day constantly posing for pictures. She is laid back and the picture taking process was stress free. The photos turned out amazing (both posed and candid). I have had several people comment on how much they like our photos and how many good ones there were. Gail is reliable, creative, professional, reasonably priced and delivers amazing results (and fast! She got our pictures back to us right away!) I highly recommend using her as your photographer.

Gail helped shoot our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. The pictures and the delivery of the pictures came out flawless. Working with her was great because my wife and I felt comfortable asking Gail different requests on how we wanted our family photos at the wedding to go, and she catered to all of our needs. Plus, Gail made sure all the items got done efficiently and quickly, so our wedding schedule was on point.
We definitely want to go back to Gail when we need to do more family photos.

Professional and laid back, creative, but not off the wall artsy — if that’s not your thing. We’ve been asking Gail back year after year since our wedding to take our (growing) family photos and will continue to do so as long as she will do it.
