Fizz is made up of three great spaces: the classic main bar, the party loft and our huge beer garden.

The main room is made up of a pre-​prohibition era bar, exposed brick walls and big TVs. Watch your favorite team, play shuffleboard or soak up the sounds of one of our weekend DJs. Hungry? Our specialty is extra thin crust pizza that will make you come back for more.

Just steps away from our main bar is one of Chicago’s largest beer gardens. Filled with couches, televisions, bags, ping-​pong, darts and of course heaters the beer garden is a great place to soak up the sun or finish off the night. With the outside holding to up to 150 guests, host your next party or event in style with us!

Available for both corporate and social affairs, The Loft is a warm spacious room with 13 foot high beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, polished hardwood floors, and a gleaming cherry wood antique bar. With a capacity of 250 people for cocktails or 125 people for seated events, it is the perfect backdrop for a variety of special occasions

History

Established in 1998.

Fizz was opened in a dilapidated building on a dilapidated stretch of Lincoln Avenue. When we choose this spot the store front was painted pink, yellow and green, the rest of the buildings on the street were in a similar state. It took six months to renovate this space that housed a clothes store for decades but we ended up with the comfortable main bar you see today. Over time Fizz was expanded to the second floor Loft for private parties and special events like weddings and corporate outings. Dozens of couples have even tied the knot in the Loft.

When we had the chance to purchase the run down building next door. We took another gamble and razed the building to create a beer garden that has been a favorite summer hang out ever since.
