Fixed Repair was started in order to provide the community an inexpensive alternative to the high labor prices of typical bike shops.

I’ve been working on bicycles since I was 15, after I started racing Mountain bikes and realized I couldn’t count on a shop to repair and upgrade my bike. In college I worked at a couple shops and also with a Master Frame Builder. I was able to increase my confidence and knowledge of repair and frame building enough to warrant offering my services on the side. Eventually allowing me to open Fixed Repair.

In a word, travis is awesome. Easy to get a hold of. Incredibly personable. Knows his bikes and bike mechanics. The quickest and cheapest work done on my ride ever. It even rides better than when I bought it. Highly recommended and I’ll definitely be passing along his info to my friends.

He’s been fixing my bikes for several years. He’s done tune-​ups on my modern and vintage road bikes and mountain bikes. He’s swapped old components for new components on a frame I really liked. And most recently I gave him a frame and he built me an affordable single speed that is super smooth. No job is too big or small from figuring out what’s making an annoying noise to doing a complete rebuild. His rates are fair and his work is outstanding and that’s relative to work done at a retail shop. The work is always timely and he’s always clear on what needs to be done and what doesn’t need to be done ie great communication. Great work, many years of experience and good person. Highly recommend.
