Stopped in for lunch because they actually had open tables at noon. Went with the chicken sandwich with avocado, cheddar, tomato, onion, and pickle. Was really impressed at how moist and flavorful the chicken was. I also thought the pickle was one of the tastiest pickles I’ve had in awhile. It added a great bang of flavor to the sandwich. The prices and service were pretty average. This place is a little bit of a walk from the office, but on nice days, I’ll definitely be up for heading down.

Pretty great epic burgers. Any place I can get a egg on my burger is the best. I also am a fan of all the natural ingredients great option in when you want a fast food burger. Oh and Epic sauce!

Stopped in for lunch during the week. The place was packed, which is usually a good sign. TBH my burger was fine, but not at all ‘epic.’ I’ve made some epic burgers in my life, and this one fell very short. Would I go back? No, but if you’re looking for something quick and customizable(because you forgot to pack your lunch heh), this wouldn’t be bad.

The wait for the burger is not worth your time. I really don’t know what’s so special about the Burger, it’s ok, extremely greasy tho. Also, $ 11.00 for a burger and fry is a little over priced, don’t ya think…

A fairly good burger joint that features relatively«healthy» burger options. I work in the West Loop and while places like Chipotle have at least a 25 minute wait around lunch time, Epic Burger had almost none. The place was loud, but not too crowded, and the food was enjoyable. I had the turkey burger on whole wheat with cheese, epic sauce, etc. I mostly just like that they offer options like lettuce in lieu of a bun and turkey/chicken instead of beef. I did feel like my burger was excessively greasy though. Fries were decent.

It was a good burger, but I don’t think it quite warranted the title«epic». Good flavor, good texture, nice char. Good choice of toppings. The skin on French fries were delicious. Menu options are pretty basic. Beef burger, chicken burger, mushroom burger. Choice if bun and toppings. Good solid place for a meaty lunch.

The breakfast sandwich is absolutely great! I’m vegetarian and not exactly like mushrooms so my escape from burgers here is the breakfast sandwich. They will fix it any way you would like your egg. All natural ingredients as well. I actually called-in because I wanted to do carry out since I live across the street. The girl on the phone was very very pleasant and you could tell the great attention to detail to handle the order. I picked it up and the service also was great, fast and very courteous. I was pleasantly surprised that they asked me to wait because they wanted me to have fresh fries. Good job folks at the Adams location!

Still the best turkey burger I’ve ever eaten. Still juicy and delicious, with a great bun. Clean place, bright and appealing.

The first time I had Epic, I tried a regular burger and fries. I thought it was okay, but didn’t think much of it. However, this week I tried the junior turkey burger on wheat, add avocado with raw and grilled onions. Hot damn. It was fantastic! The meat itself was a little bigger than the bun and I questioned whether I actually got a junior. I especially loved the avocado on it. It gets all mushy when you bite down and adds a delicious layer of flavor. The fries are fresh cut and they have malt vinegar and mustard on the table– my winning combination to add to French fries. For two burgers and fries with a drink, it was about $ 22, but totally worth it. Since this is so close to Union Station, it’ll be one of my regular spots when I find myself in the city.

Let’s get rid of the disclaimer up front Choice made with Not enough time and requiring a location close to office, With that said, it was a fairly decent burger but a double with Bacon and I cheese ran almost $ 11…ouch !! Plenty of folks ahead of me on line but the good thing is once you order, grab a seat and they will bring the burger to you… in a busy day, this courtesy gives you some minutes to fire off that one email which couldn’t wait ha Burger wasn’t greasy no more than what you would expect, tasted good and was a feel good lunch Worth another visit, go check it out if you work in the vicinity

I’d re-name this place ‘Fairly Decent Burger’. Overall, a touch too greasy, difficult to eat because of the size, and not too many options in terms of toppings. Eating anywhere in Chicago is going to be a pain at lunch. So, I don’t take that into major consideration when there’s a huge line, you can’t hear the cashier, and your food takes longer to get to you. But, even with those elements out of the way, I still don’t think this place is that impressive. Yes, if you want a super greasy hangover burger to help make that headache go away or coat your stomach in grease, this is definitely going to be your place. If you’re like me where you don’t normally like burgers all that much and it takes some true magic to make you think a burger is delicious, then you definitely will not be impressed with Epic Burger.

Guess what my husband wanted to eat after returning from a two week overseas business trip? You might say his wife’s cooking, sushi or Italian. Nope, all he wanted was an Epic burger! You can’t go wrong ordering anything from here because you tell them what you want and how you want it and they get it right every time! The service at this location is fast and friendly. Also, there’s no charge or fee if you want to host an event here. My friend just threw her 40th birthday party at this place and everyone loved it!

Overall: A good option for a quick burger if you aren’t looking for something expensive. A mix between Steak N Shake and Shake Shack The good: A lot of ways to build your own burger, with not too many initial upcharges. Lots of add-ons to choose from. The burgers are thin and taste great, reminded me of steak N shake. Not as meaty as Shake Shack. The buns were also very surprisngly good. The bad: Not much, just your average«fast food» burger option. Side salad was disappointing. The prices for all of the add ons really start to add up. Could get very expensive. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 8⁄10 Food: 8⁄10

Went today for the very first time, and I got the classic burger with cheddar, and fries. GREAT amount for lunch. You know how sometimes after a meal you feel disgusting? Nope, I felt pretty good, but I finished every single fry and every site bite of my burger. Let’s talk about the pickles. So, I hate pickles. I will always try them, and spit them out. But I LOVED the ones here! Not too bitter which I liked. Also love that the patty is not perfectly circular! Fries had a little bit too much salt on it(the coarse big stuff), but they were super super good! Totally would come here again. Pricing I think is fair. Service during lunch was great amongst the downtown lunch crowd!

I finished my business meeting early and had time to have a quick lunch before boarding my train home to STL. I’d been craving a burger for the last couple of days so I did a quick search on Unilocal and discovered Epic Burger was within walking distance of Union Station. I persuaded a couple co-workers to join me and off we went to see how«Epic» the burgers were at Epic Burger. For those of you who are familiar with Five Guys Burgers and Fries, I can tell you that Epic Burger is similar in design, but way better in product. As Patrick F., says in his opening, EB is «Fast, Friendly and Fresh.» It made for an easy quick lunch before leaving Chicago. I enjoyed a Cheeseburger with Fries and a luscious Strawberry Shake. Once you have finished your order at the counter, they give you a number on a stick that you place on your table, so the food runners can find you. I was amazed how fast the food came out to our table. Both my shake and food arrived together, but my co-workers had theirs arrive separately, but they left the number so the next runner could locate them as well. I loved the fries, which were Russet Potatoes with skins left on slice in to thin fries. They were crisp, with a hot meaty inside. Then they had the perfect ketchup, Heinz Organic — YUMMY! I garnished my cheeseburger with only lettuce, onion and pickle. Not only did this burger show up Five Guys, but it put Culver’s to shame as well. My Strawberry Shake could have been a little thicker. I like thin, but a milk shake is not one of the things I want to be thin. It also could have had a bit more strawberry flavoring. Next time, I’ll go chocolate. I’ll be back next time I’m in the Loop for business and Epic Burger has secured a spot on my Best Hamburger List.

Fast, friendly, and fresh Epic Burger is one of my favorites for a quick lunch. The turkey burger is for real here. I like to have mine with cheddar occasionally I’ll switch it up and add on some avocado also delicious. The fries are crispy and fried golden brown. I like to add a little malt vinegar and ketchup to put it over the top. The turkey burger is well seasoned and very flavorful. The buns are yummy too. The store is very clean and well organized. All condiments are well stocked and the dining room has a nice look to it. I would recommend giving epic a try if your nearby it’s worth it.

What a great burger option near the office. I can fully appreciate that the ingredients are fresh and food is made to order. Organic ketchup, sensible portions with a friendly staff. Sure you will spend $ 12 – 14 on lunch but quality often comes with a price. I ordered the turkey burger, fries and a fountain drink. I enjoyed every bite.
