The business recently moved from their long time location on Western to the revamped warehouse at 3546 W North Ave. Easy access from the street and simple traffic in and out.
These guys are family owned and have been provided the same great service for decades. Trusted in the neighborhood for handling your tires the RIGHT way while giving you a good deal is hard to come these days. I appreciate their cander and consistency to handle my last minute emergencies with flats or needs for new quality performance tires.

Quality, affordable service and their new location had an indoor waiting area. A set of used tires ran me under 200. New location is at North avenue and almost Central Park.

This place was great. Had a flat around 9 a.m. on a weekday. Pulled my car up and as I was getting out one of the guys was already on his way to my car asking if I needed help. My tire was off the car within minutes, I had a diagnosis (slashed), I was brought upstairs and was able to pick out the used tire I wanted out of the sizes they had, the tire was then put on, I was given a very fair price without any BS markups or disposal fees, and I was on my way. No nonsense — these guys work. It was a brutally cold day, and they don’t have much heat, but everyone in the place was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be there. It is old school — a tire shop working out of a three flat with a garage in back. They make it work, and work better than anywhere else I’ve had a tire fixed in this city. Now, because of the really fast service, happy and helpful demeanor of the employees, and fair prices, this is where I’ll be going to get new tires when the time comes. Good service by an independent shop with good prices should be supported by the community, so I would definitely recommend El Segundo. Thumbs up all the way — keep up the good work.

Who likes to fix a flat? Not this guy. WHo likes quality work at an affordable price? THIS GUY! After reading some horrible reviews of other places, I am glad that I have a place to go. It’s dirty, small, crowded, but that’s cause they are busy!
SOOOO, if I want a latte and a back-​rub with my tire repair, I’ll go to the Gold Coast and get taken for all my $$$. If I want my tire repaired and not spend as much as the price of a new tire, I’ll come back here as I have since I became a north sider…

This place ROCKS… I went there by accident after getting a very frustrating experience elsewhere. The guys there patched my tire and had me on my way in no time. All that for the affordable price of $ 13.00 !!!

I have had the low tire pressure indicator on my dash for several days. I needed to get the issue taken care of. Luckily, I was near Yumuri tire repair on western and lemony. This crew provided a quick diagnosis of the issue and patched me right up. I was out the door within 30 minutes of arrival. The service was fantastic.

I got a flat on my way to work on a Saturday morning and not only did these guys come and put a spare on at the same location that I was left stranded but had me follow the driver back to the shop so I can replace the tire! They were so nice. My tires were in bad shape so I just had them all replaced and then it happened, the scariest feeling in the world. I realized I left my debit and credit cards at home! I was humiliated! No need to panic the guys offered to drive me to my house or to the nearest bank at no additional charge! They were super fast and courteous. I will definitely go back and will recommend people to go to them!

I brought my car in on Saturday with a very flat tire. My boyfriend tried to plug it a week prior but that only held for a few days. So I came here thinking I definitely needed a new tire. He told me if it was just a hole it’d be $ 10. He came back about 10 minutes later and said there were two holes and it would just be $ 15.
What honesty! He could have told me I needed a whole new tire and I would have bought one. I’m glad I went here. It took less than an hour and they were pretty busy. I’ve had so many flat tires living in this city, I’m glad I found a new tire place in my neighborhood. Flat tire… GO HERE!

I thought I needed a tire repair, so had my car towed from the auto pound by a tow truck driver I know. I gave him the name of a tire store, but he recommended El Secundo Yumuri Tire. The tow truck driver himself got his new tires there. If tires are not in stock they can get new ones. They may have appropriate used ones also.
Turned out the leaks were from a problem with the sealant on the 2 rims and something with the valves. It took awhile, but they do have 4 chairs to sit on while waiting. As I was waiting they would update me on the work. I had a good book with me so it was just fine to let them do what they had to do.
Paid $ 20.00 and was fit as a fiddle.

i had a flat tire last friday… i brought these guys the rim off of the car. the shop was a little… dirty. BUT. they patched the tire with care, put it back on the car, and aired up my spare all for $ 15. great service, friendly people.
couldn’t ask more from a tire shop except maybe if they served those fancy little coffees that a butler served to you and then you would drink with your pinky up while waiting.

Nothing short of amazing quality service. While in Wicker Park, I somehow got a flat tire. My first instinct was to call AAA but they gave me a price quote on a new tire for well over $ 100. Yea… I had to pass for now. I searched and came across El Segundo Yumuri Tire and spoke with the owner Emmanuel. My busted tire, which looked like sabotage, was fixed in such an expedient manner that I’m still in shock. The price for the services rendered simply can’t be beat.
So take that tire slashing haters!
(ps. Emmanuel says I had a leak and not a psycho tire slashing stalker, but whatever).
