Established in 1975.

We started as a tire shop, and then slowly moved into the auto parts industry. We are family owned and are going into our third generation. We take pride in what we do and hope to keep serving you.

Wonderful-​Auto repair, and body work, I trust them completely. they have taken such good care of me and my car which is a much loved 2000 Jeep Wrangler. Garcias has made me a loyal customer. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The Prices are fair.beyond.The shop is clean and very organized, everyone is respectful and considerate, They do a truly superior job, My former mechanic retired, he was good. But Garcias is better. much better.

Me: Hello how much would you charge to change the oil on my car if i bring in my own oil and filter?
Guy: Ummmm… let me check… what kind of car is it?
Me: It’s a 2 step process, drain oil, unscrew filter. Replace both. I am bringing both.
Guy: Umm… what kind of car?
Me: ’83 Porsche 944. it takes literally 5 minutes.
Guy Um… let me check…

Me calling back: I got disconnected.
Guy: Yea sorry that will be 65 $.
Me: You want 65 dollars to untighten a bolt and hand unscrew a filter? I’m bringing in the oil and filter I like. It’s a 5 minute job, I just don’t have ramps…
Guy: Umm yeaaaaa it’s 65 dollars.

I always come here. I’m a loyal customer, they already know me by my name. Their always honest n tell me exactly what I need for my car to be fixed. Their prices are reasonable. The owner makes excellent coffee at 4 o clock I believe. She even drove me to my grandparents house while my car is getting fixed who lives like 15 min away. I def don’t take my car anywhere else!

These guys do great work. I recently took my car in for new tires and Miguel hooked me up. When the job was finished he showed me the wear marks on my old tires and reccommended I have my suspension looked at. I will be back to have them work on my car in the future.

Logged in to Unilocal for the first time in years to rate this place. I had a flat tire and couldn’t be more happy with my choice of Garcia’s. I told the guy that I wasn’t sure what I needed and a new tire might be necessary. The problem was just that the tire was leaking and the rim needed to be cleaned out and resealed. After walking my dog for ½ hour around Humboldt Park across the street, I came back and my tire was fixed and back on the car only $ 15. They were honest and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I will definitely be going here for future tire/​auto problems. A+ service.

Great, honest and quick. Have had them fix everything from a blown out fuse to my air conditioning. They are straight forward, and will tell you honestly when they can’t fix a problem and will give you a solid recommendation on where to go to fix the car woes.
A mechanic there fixed a very small problem in my car, and did not charge me anything — just asked me to pick him up a coffee at dunkin doughnuts (down the street). These are my neighborhood guys.
