I really do love DMK burger. I have been to their other locations multiple times and when my wife saw they were at Soldier Field no one was happier than she was. Very sad to say the quality there is SO lacking I’m having to write this. I understand that it’s a football game and you are feeding a large crowd but if you cannot keep up some sort of quality you probably shouldn’t do it. Utterly disappointed with the entire experience and quality of food. My wife ate less than half and honestly the only reason she ate that much was due to the cost. I will always continue to eat at the other locations but will never try this one again.

DMK in Soldier Field initially sounded great, however the lack of communication, disorganization and misinformation resulted in a lackluster experience. Prices are what you expect $ 13 for a single burger, $ 7 for fries and $ 7 for a large drink. The issue started when I asked the cashier if I could change one cheese for another he said sure. However, this system is set up whereby you take your receipt and hand it to another person who then hands it to the cook. I asked the person who hands it off about the change, he says sure, the cook comes to me and confirms. Then another cook confirms the change again! So far everyone is helpful. My order has not come out after 20 minutes despite several people who ordered after me including those getting the #2 burger, which I attribute to my cheese request. Then a female who was not wearing the same outfit as everyone else says what are you having? She then says we do not do ANY changes, you have to get whatever comes on it on the menu. Ok so after 4 people including 2 cooks saying they would do the change, now after waiting 20 minutes you are telling me the cooks won’t do it. She then hands the person next to me a full box of fries and then proceeds to say here is your burger, standard #2, gives me the burger that was sitting there and a half box of fries. Wait a second both of us paid $ 7 for fries but I get half the amount? The best part, literally the next burger that comes out from another employee says #8 no mayo! Sounds like a change to me! The burger was average, I would get the fries again, assuming they had parmesan in the first quarter of the game unlike last time. Note this is for the Section 126 location.

Don’t you hate going to a football stadium and standing in a long concession line to ultimately overpay for moderate quality food at best? This was not the case at DMK Burger Bar. I was at Soldier Field for the Ravens-Bears game that got delayed for over 2 hours while we waited for tornado winds to clear Chicago. My buddy and I evacuated our seats in Section 126 and DMK was the first concession we saw. We knew we’d have a lot of time to kill so we went and stood in line. The line moved pretty quickly and the menu looked surprisingly good. We each ordered a burger, which came with fries, which I was not expecting. Even if you go to places like Smashburger or ZinBurger, fries don’t come with the burgers. Burgers at those places are anywhere from $ 6 – 13 and fries are $ 3 – 4 separately. So when I saw that the burgers at DMK were going for $ 13WITH fries AT a professional football stadium, I was thrilled, but still not expecting much from the quality. We picked up our order maybe 10 minutes after placing it and we were lucky. We were just about the last customers in line before the stadium concessions were forced to close due to the heavy rain and wind… This made for 60,000+ pissed off football fans who weren’t able to overpay for food and beer even if they wanted to, while getting wet on the concourse without any indication as to when the game would recommence. Oh, and the Bears were down 10 – 0. When I tell you the burger and fries I had for $ 13 at a football stadium were among the best I’ve ever had in my life, I’m not kidding. The burger was cooked medium, the toppings(not all of which I can recall) integrated so well with the meat and the fresh bun, I didn’t care when the game resumed. The fries were seasoned awesomely and were served with a chipotle ketchup. Who would have thought to do that?! All I can say is this place is awesome. I’m not sure if this is the only location in the stadium, but if there aren’t and you’re not sitting in the 100 section, this is well worth a trip down to the ground level.
