Dancers tell a story with their body. At Dennis PáSamba DanceCompany/​Studio we emphasize the idea of dance as a form of art whose basis is education. Like any other artistic expression, dancing requires passion, motivation, and perseverance and it is inspiring to see those qualities in our students. Our instruction is designed to allow both first-​time and veteran students progress quickly and build on what they already know. We are determined to cater to our students’ needs and we pride ourselves on attracting a loyal student customer base. Dancing is a universal language that we want to make accessible to all by offering top-​notch professional instruction and a wide range of classes at unbeatable prices. My fiancé and I are currently taking private lessons from Dennis. Very sweet and patient instructor. He’s down to earth and motivating. He corrects you when need be but not in a way that turns you off. You can tell he has passion for dance and wants to share his passion with you.

OMG!!! What an amazing teacher! I have learned so much from taking classes with Dennis in such a short period of time. Not just about kizomba and bachata, but mechanics and the basics of body movement. He has me feeling like I can go out and join a competition! It’s a lot of fun! I promise you will be smiling like the ladies in the pictures that are dancing with him. I definitely looking forward to my growth as a dancer and learning more.

He’s great. If you are a terrible dancer you won’t feel embarrassed or intimidated. He’s patient and he breaks things down for you to understand. I highly suggest that you give this guy a try if you are looking for a good instructor. I felt pretty good about everything after leaving and it was only my first class. He’s not boring and he makes it fun. Isn’t that what dancing is supposed to be?

I have not had this AMAZING feeling about myself, until now! Dennis makes you feel so sexy and truly amazing, after each dance lesson! I have always loved dancing, but never felt 100% confident in my moves. I use to see him dancing at the clubs, and remember people watching him in awe. His talent now, is even more impeccable! I love that he uses positive reinforcements to help improve my every move. Dennis has the vision, heart and huge commitment and passion for dance! He even works with me to show me how to move (style) my arms, hands and legs etc to look sexier, like the professionals! The BONUS is, I’ve lost 6 pounds already since I started my lessons with him! You truly get hooked and want to keep dancing! I can’t thank Dennis enough! He’s so talented and a lot of fun! Wish I would have started earlier!

Let me begin with… I met Dennis PaSamba back when I learned how to salsa dance back in the late 90’s just by going out and dancing with people at the nightclubs and never really learning the proper way to dance. I haven’t seen Dennis in over 15 years! I showed interest in taking dance lessons and my friend recommended him and mentioned he is the BEST dance teacher/​instructor. I immediately located him on Facebook and made an appointment! I went to the appointment with the intention of talking to Dennis about different options available for me and little did I know that I was about to embark on this NEW and EXCITING journey with him! We danced for almost an hour and I kid you not, I learned more in that hour than I’ve ever had in my life about dance! I wish I would’ve known sooner how AMAZING his private lessons were! He was ALWAYS an impeccable dancer back then, but now… I believe he is in a class all on his own! He seems to have mastered his skill and I’m honored to be his newest student! I signed up for Private and Group Lessons! I’m so excited to see where this journey takes me! I will write another review after I complete all my sessions.

I’ve learned a lot from Dennis. He is a great teacher and really knows his stuff. He’s great at teaching salsa styling. He is very positive and creates a welcoming environment. He is very encouraging to make you the best that you can possibly be. I learned so much in one hour than I ever did in a 4 week class somewhere else. He is experienced in many different styles as well! He is a sweetheart and a really friendly person. I highly recommend him!

Dennis is the greatest dance instructor ever! I’ve been his student for about 6 weeks now, & have learned so much! I’m taking private lessons & am learning how to follow just about anyone in different genres, such as bachata, salsa, cumbia, cha cha & west coast swing… plus styling! I’m with him for two hours a week & he kicks my butt, but it’s well worth it! Would not change him for the world! He’s also very motivating & has such positive energy… he has definitely helped boost up my level of confidence & self esteem in dancing!

Dancer extraordinaire Dennis PaSamba has energy, style, knowledge, musicality, spunk and an overall passion for what he does.
Meeting Dennis: Out one night with girlfriends, I was drawn to him. I spotted him and knew I wanted to entangle our energetic flow out on the dance floor. By the end of the evening, I had learned that he is a dance instructor! Not only had I enjoyed a dance or few but I could additionally LEARN from him. And that I have. I have since then been fortunate enough to enjoy several lessons.
When we met, I made the honest mistake of saying that Dennis is a ‘salsero.’ He politely corrected me and said «Oh no, I am a dancer.» Anything you could possibly want to learn that is a musical kinesthetic expression of the body, Dennis has the knowhow up his sleeve.
Me, for example, I’ve been wetting my feet with not just salsa, but also West Coast swing, steppin’, and Dominican style bachata. It’s as though there were no longer a need to go out social dancing because dancing in a lesson with Dennis (whether it be in a private or group class) is just THAT much fun!
Seriously, I have been dabbling in salsa for several years and have never wanted to commit to improving myself until I met Dennis. If you want to learn any dance at all and enjoy yourself to the fullest while doing it, he is the wonderful instructor to guide there you step by step ;-)

I have heard about Dennis for many years, and have only recently been able to try him out. He is as great as everyone says! In the class I took there were all women, so I think he probably customized the class for follows. Which was great! I had heard that he was especially gifted at teaching follows’ styling, and he really is. Super nice guy, too — very encouraging and friendly.

I love this studio! The classes are fast paced, challenging, and a great work out. Dennis will push you a lot; and, the better he knows you, the more he will challenge you! I personally took the classes with hopes of learning to style; my styling was non-​existent before these classes, and now I actually get compliments on it!

I have been anxious and interested to learn salsa and bachata. and always had a doubt in mind if I can do it. Bought a voucher from Groupon to try Dennis Pa samba. My first lesson was a blast. I never thought that I had that fun. People were friendly and Dennis was awesome with his Dance moves, how he handled his students and how he relate his dance moves. With that first lesson I learned the basic and some tricky moves in Salsa n bachata with just spending 2 hours of my time. I will definitely go back and ready to learn more.

This studio is my second attempt to learn salsa — and finally I have found a place that will teach me the fundamentals very very well.
What I like is how Dennis somehow manages to see how each person in the class is doing and helps them fix their mistakes. he knows his stuff, is a very good teacher, and is funny and patient at the same time. He will make sure you do not pick up bad habits — at least not from him.
Not planning on moving to any other place to learn more Latin dancing. If you want to learn well, go see Dennis.

You can’t really find a cheaper dance studio anywhere in the city. Dennis is one of the most amazing dancers I have ever seen. He teaches in a fast paced environment and gives you a bang for your buck. I took bachata here and the dance combinations were very unique. If you are a complete newbie, I wouldn’t recommend this studio. But if you have some knowledge in basic bachata. then highly recommended. Like I said, he does teach at a fast and challenging pace.

I started taking lessons with Dennis a year ago. I had taken a few lessons before but didn’t keep up with it consistently until last year. Dennis will always welcome you back and encourage you not to quit. He will push to dance better than you ever thought possible. He’s very knowledgeable and a phenomenal dancer himself. He will teach you styling, footwork, combinations and keeps you challenged every time.
Whether it’s salsa, mambo, bachata, chachacha or any other dance you can think of, Dennis will teach you. All he ever asks of you is that you try your best and he takes care of the rest. And if you want to be the best, why go anywhere when you have the best at Dennis Pasamba dance studio.
