History

Established in 2003.

CVSC Passport & Visa started in 2003 from humble beginnings in Houston, Texas, as a family operation, to what is now a major player in the travel industry. Within the past few years, we have expanded from a single office to six different locations across the US. Headquartered in Houston, we have offices in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco to provide service to all 50 states and beyond. In the 1^st quarter of 2013, we launched a second website, Passport Center, expanding our services to include passport and visa processing for all countries that require a visa.

Salina N.

Manager

Salina was raised in Shanghai. She has a combined experience of 9 years working at large international corporations in China. She was the Corporate Public Relations Manager at the French premier water brand, Evian, and the Public Relations Manager of Greater China at world’s leading sports brand, Adidas. After moving to Chicago, she joined the CVSC team as manager of the Chicago office. Salina has a keen eye for detail and is highly efficient in her processes. After traveling extensively around the world, she is excited to help other travelers with their international travel needs.

Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, photography, and is an absolute pet lover.

This place is great. I’ve used them twice now and both times have been perfect.
They send you a confirmation when they get your passport and paperwork. Send you updates when it’s completed and the shipping information when they send it back.
Both times I’ve used them they’ve made sure to have it processed in time. Last time I had a last-minute trip and the processed in 2 days (for an extra fee) and even made sure it was delivered back to me on saturday.
Great company to work with. Highly recommend!

Very easy process for obtaining a Chinese Visa through CVSC. Their online instructions are clear and up-to-date (including the relatively new option for a 10 year visa). Communication was excellent – They emailed at each step of the way.
For those who live too far away from Chicago to get a visa in person (it requires 2 visits to the Consulate, 5 – 6 business days apart), CVSC is an excellent visa agent.

Obtaining visas can be stressful, especially when planning multiple countries months in advance. I found China Visa Services to be straightforward and easy to use. Just send in your passport with the necessary documents. The online instructions were simple and their office called me as soon as my passport arrived to see if I wanted the express option. 2 days later it was ready to be picked up or Fed-Ex’d to me. They do charge a high fee for the service, but it’s worth it to avoid the in person process.

These folks handle the process of getting visas via the Chinese Consulate in Chicago, as is required for folks who live in the upper midWest and who cannot conveniently handle the process in person.
I and my wife are travelling to China in July, me on business and she to accompany me as a tourist. I got an invitation letter from the organization with whom I am meeting, and she applied for a tourist visa. For reasons I don’t understand, my visa was approved and hers was refused.
The staff at the Visa Center went way out of its way to work with me in developing and providing additional information to meet the Consulate’s concerns. It took a lot of time and effort on both our parts. Ultimately, they were successful and my wife’s visa application was approved. They did not charge extra for this extra service. The Visa Service Center Staff was most efficient and did an excellent job of keeping me up to date as events transpired.

Needed a visa to go to China and get married again this summer. Now, I am usually wary of any website having anything to do with China because there are a lot of scammers out there, and I wasn’t excited about sending $ 200+ and my passport to some agency that hadn’t been vetted.
So, I’m writing this review to let everybody know that China Visa Service Center is A-OKAY. Price was reasonable (more reasonable than a trip to Chicago and half a day at the consulate anyway), their instructions were clear and easy to follow, and their total turn around time was about a week and a half. If it’s important to you: I shipped them my passport next day air on a Monday morning, they received it on Tuesday, submitted it on Wednesday with standard service, and I had it in my hands the next Wednesday morning. Don’t know if this is typical, but it worked for me!
