Although the staff is friendly, the burger is just not good. If you got one of their flyers, don’t bother.

I would give this place one star except that the delivery was relatively quick & the delivery guy was nice. Otherwise, the food was lousy & I won’t be ordering from here again based on my first experience. I got an order of garlic bread & it was easily the worst garlic bread I’ve ever had. It’s really hard to screw up garlic bread but they achieved just that. I’m Italian & love my garlic but there was literally probably an entire jar of garlic paste smeared across the bread. I also got a small sausage pizza. The sausage was okay — nothing special, but the pizza itself was one of those where you pick up a slice and all the cheese & toppings fall off. Watery, tasteless tomato paste sauce. Don’t waste your money. They advertise cheap pizza & there’s a reason it’s so cheap.

Sadly, Chiki’s may have to be dropped from the pizza rotation in my house, as two of the last three times have been unsatisfactory. Once the delivery was slower than usual and the crust was burnt. Last night our 45-minute delivery estimate turned into a 90-minute reality, without apology or explanation. And the pizza was strangely bland, as if the sauce and cheese had no flavor, so that all I tasted was dough and toppings. Really odd. Plus they have changed their«Veggie» suite of toppings from onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and broccoli to spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms – a tolerable but far inferior combination.

I ordered online and the it said it would take about fifty minutes. It got to my home pretty quick. However, that was the only good thing about it. I ordered a gyro and burrito. The gyro was just pretty much sauce, onions, and very little meat. The fries were under cooked. The burrito was not a burrito it was just meat and stuff in it. I did not even finish it honestly. Money down the drain. Also the delivery person kinda stood there lingering when the tip was added to the bill. DONOTORDERFROMHERE!!!

Ordered the large 2 topping pizza special after receiving a flyer in my door. The man on the phone was nice. He told me there was no delivery minimum. Pizza came within 45 minutes, hot and a crispy crust. Tasted great! Can’t beat a large pizza for $ 7! Will definitely order again!

I ordered a stuffed pizza with black olives and sausage. The pizza crust was soggy and the toppings were scarce. I would not recommend this pizza by any means. I have had a lot of pizza in Chicago, and this was by far the worst yet.

Terrible, tasteless pizza. $ 30 for a «large» cheese pizza, calamari(which was over cooked and in a huge fried chunk of squid, and a caesar salad that didn’t even have the right dressing! We have discovered that we can make better pizza at home that taste way better and cost way less. Disappointed in the pizza options in Chicago Rogers Park area.

So, I’ve had Chiki’s thin crust 2.5 times: twice I legitimately split a pizza with my husband, and once I stole a couple pieces from his order when I saw it and decided it looked better than my PBJ. When I’m in the mood for pizza(days that end in Y) and also in the mood for thin crust(months with 30 days) Chiki’s has proven to be a pretty good choice. Their Very Vegetarian is an unusual but welcome combination of mushrooms, green peppers, onion and broccoli. However, our most recent order of the VV was in fact vegetarian but the vegetables were not as described. Instead of m/gp/o/b, we had mushroom, spinach, tomato. I love surprises and also love spinach, but it’s just not what we ordered. Puzzling. Then, unfortunately, it was overdone to the point of being burnt on the bottom. Otherwise, Chiki’s has been reliable for us. We are probably on the edge of their delivery range but they always deliver on time and are pleasant. Based on previous experience and the love from other reviewers I assume we just got a bum pizza and will probably give them another shot.

Hubby ordered a large sausage and mushroom thin crust for delivery and it was over $ 30.00. The ingredients were nothing to brag about — nothing noteworthy about the flavor. Not a fan.

Really good thin crust. Came here after working really late and being up that far north. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time, but i think delivery was busy for them.

Nice guy who talked to me about liquor stores sold me the pizza slices and salad. Good salad and italian dressing. Not exciting pizza but, nice people, average pizza, and good salad. Décor and wall hangings in the store tell a story of chitalian history.

Not enough nice things can be said about this place. Whether you dine in or deliver its Always FRESH and Delicious. So much better than a Hot n’ Ready, people. They have great Mexican food too, but I hardly ever get it bc the pizzas so good. Pizza and Guacamole under one roof. Period. I think they do catering too AND they have free wifi. Support this place! Pretty good pizza… nothing to write home about, but I’d eat it again. For the price and quick delivery, it’s a pretty good value.

This pizza reminded me of nothing more than school cafeteria pizza. It was crispy, hot, and tasteless. What’s good about it??? These people up north simply never had good pie. It tastes cheap. I’d hate to think what they think about the chinese food up here! HORRIBLE!!!

Their thin crust pizza is pretty good… meat thin crust is almost like NY style, but veggie thin crust is a little dryer. Their non-pizza food is really awful. Burger was dry, tasteless and over-cooked. Fries(we requested extra-crispy) were hunks of warm raw potato. Mozzarella sticks weren’t breaded, but instead coated with some strange McNugget-like fry layer. Truly a disgusting meal. I’d still order their pizza again though.

Friendliest delivery guy ever. Asked if I was new in the neighborhood and told me to keep them busy. Thin crust, pesto sauce. Dense toppings, with very salty cheese. Sausage, garlic, onion, green pepper. Best goddamn pizza around. Ordered a couple tacos also. The ground beef was a bit bland, though the clinantro and onion topping was fresh. The chicken tacos were better. Fresh dark meat cubed. Cilantro & onion the same. The seasoning has a bit of spice. Not too spicy but a mild heat lingers. Orders over $ 30 get a free 6pack! Noice.

I’m a hug fan of Chiki’s! I eat from this so often that I should have some stock in the company. I really enjoy burritos and you can’t beat the 5 dollar pizza.

I am new to Rogers Park, so I depend on fellow Unilocalers for good food joints. I finally tried Chikis Pizza. I have the chicken pizza and it was good. I am a fan of the price and the size.

My partner and I just had lunch here. We each ordered the all-you-can-eat pizza or pasta deals. The portions were huge! Like, 2 huge plates of fettuccine alfredo and an entire pizza. The chef also brought us complimentary pasta dishes while we waited for our meals(which didn’t take long). There were no surprise charges, even though I said«There’s no way this is going to end up only being $ 5.50 each!» We have left overs for dinner now too! It’s a terribly friendly place. As my partner said, it sort of felt like you were hanging out at a friend’s house while they cooked you a nice meal in the kitchen. We didn’t try any other foods, but I do recommend the all-you-can-eat meals if you’re really hungry and trying not to splurge. We will definitely be going back!
