History
Established in 1980.
n 1979, the original Carmen’s was opened in Evanston and quickly established itself as one of the great Chicago pizza restaurants. By using the highest quality ingredients available, the restaurant distinguished itself from other pizzas for it’s singular, fresh taste.
Opening a Loyola location in the 80’s, Carmen’s continued to become a favorite of Northside residents, along with both Northwestern and Loyola University students.
Through the years our dedication to quality has been maintained, and many people make it an immediate destination for Chicago pizza. In addition, we create fine pasta dishes and giant Italian beef and sausage sandwiches, every item made to order.
