Chicago’s Best Vacation Rentals

My family of 5 people came from Brazil to visit me and my husband here in Chicago and I wanted some flexibility and that they could all stay in a place where they would feel like home, instead of a hotel, since they were staying for 3 weeks and that was way too long to stay in a hotel room. So I did some research and found this apartment of 3 bedrooms from Chicago’s Best Vacation Rentals. I spoke to Bob through email and we set up a showing so I could see if the apartment met my expectations and it would fit my family’s needs. I was surprised to see that the apartment looked exactly how you see in the videos, and it was warm and cozy, big enough and comfortable for a family of 5. My family stayed with them from Jan 29^th to Feb 18^th and they loved it. I am glad we had some flexibility with the check in and check out times, even though the contract was clear that the check in/​out would be the same hours of a hotel. The apartment was close a few blocks from Sox 35^th red line and one block away from a bus that goes to Halsted orange line, easy to go to downtown, they didn’t even need a car other than for 2 days so they could go to the Premium Outlets in the suburbs. I definitely recommend this place, they are very organized, the contract is very clear and as long as you do your part and keep everything in order, you will get your deposit back as promised, like we did. My family can’t wait to come back and stay with them again, they had a great experience during their vacation!

We travel to Chicago frequently and often rely on last minute deals from Priceline but for this trip we were going with my younger brother, his friend and my parents so we wanted to make sure we were staying somewhere we knew would be enjoyable. I found this rental through
, I was slightly apprehensive because booking a vacation rental was a new experience for me but Bob was fantastic. Once you fill out the online request form he contacts you to answer any questions you may have and provides a youtube video of the rental so you can see exactly where you’ll be staying. We stayed in the upper unit and the layout was very conducive our needs, it provided the people who wake up early with places to go without having to worry about disturbing the others who were sleeping. Conversely those who stay up later could do so without having to worry about keeping the others awake who wished to sleep. We stayed in the upper unit and there was a large living room with two very comfortable chairs and a convertible sofa bed. Next to that there is a spacious dining room with a large dining table and a desk with a computer. The first bedroom is located off this room. Continuing through the condo you will pass the bathroom on you left. The shower is absolutely incredible, during our visit I took two showers a day just to enjoy it’s fabulousness. Once you pass the bathroom you will find yourself in the well appointed kitchen. It was very roomy and included a smaller dining table which was a nice surprise in addition to all of the things that one would expect in the kitchen. The second bedroom is also located off the kitchen. Both bedrooms are large and contain a queen sized bed which was very comfortable. There are also extra blankets and pillows in the closet. In the back of the kitchen there is a door to a landing which contains the laundry facilities and the entrance to the roof deck. The roof deck was spectacular, it included very comfortable furniture and provided panoramic views of downtown Chicago. The hot tub is located downstairs and is what dreams are made of, it was absolutely fabulous. There is a garage that can be used for parking but we just parked on the street during our stay and utilized the parking permits that Bob provides. The apartment is also conveniently located to several bus stops and the train is just a short walk away. It’s within walking distance of US Cellular field but we didn’t have any difficulties getting in our out of the neighborhood even during game times. The neighborhood is also very quiet and relaxing. There was also a selection of board games which were a wonderful surprise. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to Chicago.
