Avoid a conflict of interest by having an independent inspector come out and perform air and surface tests. Unlike mold test kit you can get from hardware stores, our lab results will show not only what species of mold is present but also how much.

Customers with tests indicating a problem are provided a report for how to fix the problems.

History

Established in 2009.

Started in 2009 after the owner saw a problem with mold removal companies being the only people available to perform mold testing. In 2013, operations moved from New Jersey back to Ryan’s hometown of Chicago.

Chicago Mold Testing offers a different option. We only handle assessments so you don’t have to worry that the inspector will try to pitch unnecessary work.

In fact, we will be happy to tell you that your indoor air quality is normal if that is the case. If a problem is present, we also provide you a detailed report in an effort to keep the restoration bill as low as possible while completing the job correctly.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born and raised on the north side of Chicago, Ryan first became involved in the mold industry helping his uncle’s contracting company with mold abatement projects. This is where he learned about the difference between a real mold problem and common, non-​toxic mold growth.

He moved onto inspections and has remained a «test only» company since starting in 2009.
