Chicago Community Mennonite Church

I’ve attended CCMC since moving to Chicago in 2006. It’s a Mennonite community which makes some people think of buggies and black clothes, but this is different type of Mennonite.
Stop by on a Sunday morning at 9:00am and you’ll feel welcome no matter your age, gender, race, sexual orientation, or religious history. We sing 4-​part hymns, take turns leading worship, have a children’s time and nursery for little kids, and a coffee/​chat time after church.
You’ll hear a lot of talk about peace & justice issues, so if that’s your thing, this is the place for you.
I would definitely recommend this church community to anyone who is interested in checking out a church, but has perhaps had bad church experiences in the past. You’ll feel good here.
