Best carnitas in Chicago! On most weekend mornings the line is out the door but it’s worth the wait. If you dine in, don’t expect the best customer service but the food will make up for it! The tortillas are homemade which is an extra touch!

Small place big flavors if u go and u like pork meat this is the best place to go everything here is scrumptious and u won’t be disappointed I usually drive and hour just too get some of this carnitas

A hidden gem, neighborhood staple, worth the drive for others not in the immediate area. Pork is extremely tender, cuts like buttah! Menudo is so hearty it is certainly the cure for the common cold. And last but not least homemade tortillas!

Amazing food, the owner Mauro came to do a party at my house. It felt like I was in Mexico eating at a street vendor. THEY HAD everything. .tacos Three types of meat. Orchata salsa. My guest loved it. I highly recommend them.. Especially if your looking for an outdoor party.. Excellent job great food !

We frequent this establishment often and their carnitas are decent, but in the past few times I’ve visited the customer service has been atrocious. The people at the bakery purposely tried to overcharge me of the cake and after I thought the issue was resolved they tried to do
It again. About a week ago they also tried to overcharge me for salsa. I don’t know if this store is under new management or something but I will no longer be giving them my service.

These carnitas are the BEST! You won’t regret eating in this delicious place! The staff is very friendly and also everyone is patient being in line because in the weekend this place is jam packed! But on the weekdays is always good to stop by lunch.

This Family owned restaurant is my weekend spot forsure! I’ve been coming here for the past 2years and this is the spot to come get your carnitas on the weekends! There is always a line but that doesn’t bother me, totally worth the wait.(Most I’ve waited was 10min) They are amazing. The carniceneros are always on top of their game; very respectful and fast with there job. You can definitely stop and eat in as well. And if your craving home made tortillas, just ask and they’ll be happy to grab you some. They also have other mexican goodies as your heading to the cashier oh and don’t forget your nopales (cactus).

Great carnitas yes it is always packed but the two girls that charge on Sunday’s are really rude.
I want to enjoy and pay n not have to go back for cebolla n cilantro. N then when u ask for a horchata I don’t want eyes rolling, because you have to walk back n get it. I’d only go back for the food.

This is my second favorite place to come for carnitas. My favorite thing about it, are their homemade tortillas. MMM MMM MMMMMM!
Of course as with all good carnita spots, they get packed. Worth the wait though, so yummy.
