Brows Threading

I stopped in because the last lady at Threading Salon (my usual go to) messed up the shape of my eyebrows and didn’t care to trim them so I desperately needed them fixed and this is about two blocks from my house. The lady may have been training since an older lady was overseeing her work when I got there and while she was working on me. She did a great job at evening out the shape of my brows but they’re a lot thinner than I’m used to, which is unfortunate but at least now they’re the same shape. A little more expensive than Threading Salon, but I would come back again and maybe tell her not to thin them out too much next time.

It was around Christmas and I needed to get my brows threaded after a year later. My brows have become very bushy. and this place was opened. There’s only one lady who works there and she locked the front but opened when I was there. Service was quick. although she threaded my brows very thin. For the first week I was not happy because my brows were the thinnest it’s ever been! Remind me of when I had a line in high school, so now I fill them in with Benefits EyeBrow to make them fuller. They look decent now though, but without the brow to make them fuller it looks very thin. I probably will come back because it’s quick and they’re normally not too busy when I drive by. and theyre convenient for me to go. As long as I fill my eyebrows in, they look pretty nice.
Only thing is they do cost more than what I’m used to. It’s $ 10 and I tip $ 2. I used to go to the Threading Salon on Taylor, but Nikki left and the newbies there aren’t as good. Plus I don’t want to wait an hour to get serviced for 5 minutes so that’s why I came here.

If you want uneven eyebrows this is the place to go. Ugh! Glasses all week! The cost was $ 10 and the service was okay. I definitely will not return. Someone please guide me to the right direction!

I am very picky with my eyebrows, but I trust these ladies 100% with my eyebrow grooming. They always take their time sculpting your eyebrows to perfection when they thread. I am very happy to have found a place on the SSide that does knows brows! No worries ladies, you will not walk out of here with angry or «sharpie» thin eyebrows ;-).

Love love love my eyebrows after being threaded here. They haven’t looked so great in a long time. I live very close so decided to check it out one day, and very happy with my service. They open early and offer different services from henna to eyebrows and eyebrow tinting. The lady who did mine was very fast and friendly. Def coming back !

Came here hoping to find a threading location closer to where I live. It was nice to walk in and not have to wait to get in a chair, I think I was in and out in 10 minutes. However, the threading job was less than par. The experience was pretty rough and after getting home and taking a closer look at the job that was done the lady who provided my services didn’t get any clean lines/​arch and my brows were uneven (I could feel that was how it was going to be just from how she was pulling the thread). I’ll have to touch up myself and let them regrow back out to get my arch back in my right eyebrow. It wasn’t awful but I don’t plan on returning.

I came to this location a few months ago only because it was a close threading location for me. I had hoped that the older woman would be available because she seemed knowledgeable about threading. The other person that I got was very friendly (all staff are friendly) and although I explained to her exactly what I wanted because she seemed a little nervous, my eyebrows came out uneven and she took out too much especially in the places I specifically told her not to. She also threaded some of my forehead which was weird. My eyebrows were uneven, too thin and she missed some clean up in some places.
Nice place/​staff but I wouldn’t come here again.

Quick service! I was in and out of there within 10 mins. The older Indian lady threaded my brows and did a pretty good job. There were a few thin hairs that she didn’t catch but it wasn’t too noticeable. Very friendly staff as well :)

I walked in this place today.
And walked out so happy with my service.
This was just my second time at this place but because I really likes how my eye brows turned out I said the next time I’m going to let them put on my eye lashes.

I’m so happy that I did she took her time. And when you not rushing that is a good thing for me.
I have to say that this was the best service. I have been to other places and by the time I got home I was taking them off.
Well not this time.

I love this place. This is the only place I’ll go to get my eyebrows threaded and to get my waxes. The staff is very friendly. I love it here.

I go in every month or so to have my lip threaded. I went in as usual last night and requested my lip be threaded. I have pretty light colored hair, so it’s not a major ordeal, just a clean up. The girl started with my lip and then worked on a part of my chin. I was thinking — Yay! Bonus! I don’t have much more than blond peach fuzz on my chin anyway. I went to pay, and she charged me for the lip and chin ($ 5+$ 5). I said, no I only asked for my lip. She giggled and said she did my chin too. I said I would only pay for my lip, and she insisted I owed $ 10. I turned to the woman who I think owns the place, and she couldn’t be bothered to get off the phone (to be fair, she was speaking a language that I don’t understand, so I couldn’t tell if it was a business call or a personal one — still she wouldn’t stop to help). So I paid the money and left.
The worst part of all — I had to go home and pluck the part of the lip AND chin that she had missed. She was not thorough at all, so I was overcharged and got poor quality work!
Bottom line — I lost $ 5, but they lost a consistent customer. I hope it was worth it!
If the business would like to correct this, please do write back. I would be happy to stop and pick up the $ 5 I was cheated out of and remain a customer.

Sign says it opens on 10am. It’s 1015 and still not open. So much for trying this place out.

They cut my eyebrow on Sat Feb 14, then denied it they said they didn’t do that I was uphalled no stars

This is the only place I go get my eyebrows done at. I always walk in looking like crap and leave with perfectly arched eyebrows. I love that I never feel like she has taken too much off, always perfect!

Threading and eyebrow tinting. Best services. I refuse to let anyone but the women at this shop touch my brows. It’s worth the travel. :)

I was going to be in the neighborhood to run an errand and really didn’t want to have to head to another part of town to visit my go-​to threading place. I normally wouldn’t try some place new for such an important thing like my eyebrows but there I saw a 5 star rating from a fellow Unilocal Elite and that was good enough for me. PLUS it was literally 2 blocks from the place I was going to. How convenient?
I had an okay experience… nothing special though. For $ 10 I have no complaints. They were quick and my eyebrows were neat when I left. If I’m in a pinch and in the area like I was on Saturday, I might stop in again. Maybe.

Nice ppl, left my eye brows un even. I posted up a pic, please see. I will never return here. All i needed was a clean up. They have pics of eye brows in the place that make it seem like they got it down. Nope. Go somewhere where they know about threading. I think this lady just learned how to thread. Nice ppl but don’t risk messing your brows up. They also removed my picture from Unilocal so u can see how un even they are.

Starlight, starbright, how did you get my eyebrows so right? Yes, that’s how I felt when I left this place.
Soo I did a quick search for some brows because my other place disappeared. Hmph! I also wanted something that was easy to get to from a driving/​park standpoint. So I happened across Brows Threading that had a whopping 6 reviews, but pretty good reviews. Normally, I wouldn’t DARE trust my face to something with 6 reviews, but I decided to take a chance.
I called ahead to see if there was a wait and it wasn’t. I was in enroute. I was glad that someone told me to NOT judge a book by it’s cover, because yea. the area and it’s storefront didn’t lend itself to something I wanted to give a try. However, I walked in to a quaint little no frills shop with two threaders. Jamie/​Jessie (I am drawing a blank on the name) was an older woman took me right away. We talked about what I wanted and she got to work.
A few minutes later I was set and in heaven. I think I found my new spot. It was $ 10 in and out around 12 or so on Saturday. Now with that, there were a ton of people who came in after me, so I can see the wait getting long.
Advice: Call ahead and make sure. Also, there is some free parking on the side streets, so take a look for that.

The woman who did my eyebrows was quick and friendly (she assured me that my tears and sneezes as a first-​timer were normal), and the salon was clean and well-​decorated. I got in as soon as I walked in (Thursday afternoon), and the brow powder is affordable and high quality. This will be my regular spot!

Brows threading, despite having a lack luster appearance from the exterior, is a wonderful little salon.
My eyebrows have looked good both times I have gotten them done here, and I have no complaints. I have never had to wait more than two minutes.
$ 10 is a reasonable price, although I am always tempted to make the journey to Devon for a $ 5 threading.
