Associates in Professional Counseling is a broad-​based counseling organization with highly skilled and experienced therapists. APC is known for effective integration of insights, values and solid cognitive behavioral methods to give our patients excellent care. Although we do not prescribe medications, APC works closely with some of the areas most prominent psychiatrists and other physicians for medical and medication evaluations when needed. Our therapists are known for being caring, experienced, and discreet. Most of our new patients are referred to us from current clients.

Interestingly, Associates in Professional Counseling has attracted a clientele that includes many professional and business leaders as well as physicians and their families. Our team of therapists includes those with additional training in nursing, addictions, crisis intervention, grief and loss, sexual dysfunction, marriage and family issues, corporate coaching, and faith based counseling.

With over 20 years in the counseling field, he brings experience, knowledge and maturity to lead the clinical team. He is a clinical counselor and corporate coach. Dr. Polcaster is known for his effective counseling with professionals and business leaders. He was a leader on the Allied Staff of Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville for many years.
