Very very disappointed. Dropped off a pair of peep toe sling backs. The elastic on one of the straps had broken and they said they could be repaired for $ 6/shoe. They replaced it with already stretched out elastic, and now the shoes fall off my feet when I wear them. I would take them back, but I received No receipt(was charged more than I was quoted.) And made 4 trips before I caught them when they were actually opened!(The first time was my fault, I didn’t know when they closed, I called and was told they closed at 5. showed up at 4:40 — 4:50 two more times and saw they were already closed, had to go on my lunch break to go actually pick them up.) Just very very disappointing.

I dropped my boots off on Monday to get the heels replaced. He said to come back on Wednesday and quoted $ 16. As he said that and wrote my ticket, I mentioned that the insoles needed to be replaced as well. He said ok but didn’t write anything down or change my quoted price. In my head I thought two thoughts — he was either going to throw them in for free or charge me additional upon pickup. Either way, no big deal. I came in on Wednesday morning on my way to work to pick them up and he said they weren’t ready yet and to come back at lunchtime. No big deal, I can sit at my desk for 4 hours in my other shoes. At 12:30, I went down to pick them up and they still weren’t ready. I said«You told me lunchtime» and he said«10 more minutes». I ran some errands and came back about an hour later to pick them up. I paid him the $ 16 and as I was checking them out, realized that he hadn’t replaced the insoles. I asked him about them and he looked at me like I was a crazy person. «You told me on Monday when I dropped these off that you would replace them.» He asked if I wanted him to do it now and I said«No, I need my boots now and don’t want to wait any longer.» I took them upstairs and as I looked at the heels, noticed that they’re just cheap rubber that was quickly stapled into the shoe. Most definitely not worth $ 16. My guess is that they won’t last through the winter.
