Aaron Heating & Air Conditioning Repair

Aaron Heating and Air Conditioning was sent to my home through a home warranty service to inspect my hot water heat. The plumber arrived disheveled and did not introduce himself. Either a plumbing leak or otherwise covered his groin. He did provide a receipt or invoice, and could not explain the service or payment. He did the ‘tub test’ filling it with water and realized it was not hot enough to even fill, thus suggesting need for a new water heater. One week later I called the home warranty service to find out Aaron Heating had not followed up with the service. Later in the day Aaron Heating called the warranty company and reported that there was no problem with my not water heater and it was running hot water. I am back at square one. I usually don’t take the time for reviews, but have never encountered a company so unprofessional.

I’ve never had any problems with this company!
I called them recently because my heat stopped working and they were at my house in under two hours and had the problem fixed in 15 minutes. As another reviewer wrote — they saved me money! They were $ 30 cheaper than anyone else for the service call and I called around to get pricing on the part I needed and it turns out they were cheaper on that as well — plus they showed me what the problem was and what they did to replace it. My service guy, Brian, even pointed out a few things I needed to watch out for in the summer (Thanks, Brian)!
I’m very happy with their service and will continue to use them in the future! It’s so hard to find contractors you can trust!

I called at 3am in the morning because my heat stopped working. They answered and was at my house in less than 2hrs! I was surprised to say the least! They were really nice and even hooked me up with a pretty sweet deal! After being astonished with their services I decided to call around to see what others were charging. turns out they saved me over $ 400 I was pretty happy. I highly recommend them!

I think these people should be reported to the Better Business Bureau! They are total shysters. Here’s what happenned:
My neighbor was having problems with her furnace which she thought was due to some water that leaked from our floor to hers last summer. Ryan & Doug came out and told her that she could fix parts of her furnace and watch it breakdown over time or she could get a whole new unit. Since she was a valuable customer they would even give her a deal and only charge her ½ of what they normally charge. Yeah, right!
Well, since we thought we were going to have to pay, I called Guardian Air & Heating (they have great reviews on Unilocal) to come out and take a look.
Josh from Guardian came out and said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the furnace. The only thing he found was that the filter hadn’t been cleaned in eons.
What?! Checking the filter was the first thing Aaron’s should have done before trying to hit a person up for a new furnace. It’s straight up scamming if you ask me and practically, no, legitimately, criminal. They should be ashamed of themselves!

Installed an air conditioner for us that blew out in 6 weeks. Installed a heater 9 months ago and did a terrible job. Cut all wires connecting heater to the humidifier, duct work fell apart almost instantly, internal wires burnt 9 months after installation and we sat in a freezing house while they lied to us about when they would come out to fix (48 hours later, still no show). Take your business elsewhere. We had to after being totally ripped off and lied to. Wish I could give them negative stars.

I hired them to fix my air conditioner. They charged me $ 500 to get it working. It quit working the next day. They told me I needed a new system for $ 6000 plus so I called someone else who fixed my problem permanently for under $ 500. When I called for a refund they said they would give me a partial refund (less than ½ but you take what you can get). It has been 5 months — I’ve called 4 times and I“ve still not gotten my refund.

I had the exact opposite experience! Haggerty is very responsive and helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. I had 3 furnaces and duct work installed in apartments in a 3-​flat that I purchased. Haggerty and his team did an incredible job at a very reasonable price. It’s 14 months later and the units work extremely well. I had a question a few weeks after the installation and Haggerty came back out (at no charge) and showed me how to do something. If I need HVAC work again, they will be my first (and only) call!

I had to give 1 star, but I really would like to give it a 0.
They are a rip off. I was overcharged for an air conditioning unit, which held a freon charge for 10 days only. I tried to contact Haggerty at Aaron and no return on the phone call. To this day I have a $ 2,000 a/​c unit that does NOT work, I was so disappointed. I was close to enrolling in A/​C school as to NEVER deal with fella like that again. PLEASE STAY AWAY.
