Giant Mechanical

Frank, the owner took us for over $ 36,000.00 for some of the worst quality work. Brand new furnace is leaking water, compressor for the walk in cooler stopped working since it was installed incorrectly. The list goes on and on. Now I have to spend more money in getting this fixed… Frank is not a good person, the only time he came in time to work was to pick up his money. I would never use Giant Mechanical again. The city inspector said and I quote, «You have some major problems there. Why did you use this guy for your HVAC?». This is after we passed all inspections except the HVAC. If you want to burn your money, go ahead and call GIANT. If not, please call someone reputable and spend couple more dollars.

Do not, I repeat do not use Giant UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Words can not describe the horror. FAILED INSPECTION! WASTED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! The worst service I have ever experienced in nearly 20 years of business.

Giant Mechanical sent us a flyer to service our condo boiler. We set up an appointment with Giant Mechanical twice. They didn’t show up or call on either occasion. Mind you they set a 3 hour appointment window and then proceeded not to show up. Enough said.
This is not the way you do business in the 21^st century, or ever for that matter. Consumers beware and DON’T waste your time.

These guys SUCK. They deserve a 0. First, they promise to come within a large time frame. 4−5hrs. I have used them 3 times, the only reason is that right around the corner from us and they have missed there apptm bu more than 36hrs. So schedule a day before and maybe they will come out the next day. The owner Frank thinks he’s the shit in his Mercedes, and has total lack of customer skills and troubleshooting capability. They charge alot, and there work is well below avg. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE, I like 4 seasons, see the review I wrote about them. Please do not use these guys they suck.

I am the VP of my condo association. Our boiler was purchased from Giant Mechanical about 2 years ago by our developer. We called them for routine annual service. They came for the service, late but they came. However, the techs did not know how to test run our boiler. Frank, the owner came out a week later and reset our controls and did the test run. He was over 3 hours late to the appointment. Well clearly he did something wrong, because less than a week later, once section of our building had no heat. We called to have them come back out. They wanted to charge us a $ 45 service call, even though the problem was created by their techs. They never showed up to the appointment. We rescheduled for the next day. no call no show. We even tried a third time today. no call and no show. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Rude, inconsiderate, and unreliable.

I called them on a Saturday for service on my furnace due to some issues which I communicated to the guy on the phone. I was very pleased to get an appointment Monday afternoon from 1 to 5 pm. However, after I took off of work and called to confirm, they had no record of my appointment. The woman on the phone was very nice and agreed to keep my appointment. After waiting for 3 hours, I got nervous and called the company back asking if my appointment was still going to happen. The woman assured me that someone would be there any minute. A half hour later, I called again and this time the woman said that she couldn’t get a hold of the technician before, but now she got a hold of him and he had an emergency so they would have to reschedule. I told them that I would go with another company.

I called them for servicing on our furnace. Evasive about price until they had disassembled my furnace. Claimed to accept credit card when I called to schedule service and then when it came time to pay for service, claimed that their credit card processor did not work (and would not be working for a week). Demanded cash or check instead.
I thought it was a little shady to claim to accept all forms of payment and then demand cash/​check once service had been rendered. Would not recommend this company for service.
