69th Red Line

This is the reason I gave this station 3 stars but I only usually this line because its the closes one to me. Many of the stops on this line need an overhaul unfortunately the commuters don’t seem to know how to do their part.
The employees have always been semi kind… because I have ran into a few that have been very helpful and others that seemed like they hate their job but I guess that is anywhere you go these days.

Well… it’s the south side of the red line and it’s pretty sad. People are mostly quiet and keep to themselves, unless they are the unstable ones who you kind of wish didn’t talk at all. The ride is a little jerkier than on the north side, and it moves a little slower, too. Who knows what the work on the line will bring?!

The nearest train station to me not counting the Green Line 63^rd/​Ashland stop, for I’m more afraid of the Green than the Red, but still occasionally ride it when I have to. Anyway, I hate this place! I dread coming here! Nothing but drug dealers, hookers, thugs, and drug addicts standing around, loitering, harassing innocent commuters for money or other goods. Crime occurs at this station pretty often! I just looked on a site called
, and found two seperate incidents in which someone was jumped by a group of Black men and had their cell phone stolen. If you visit the site, you should find these stories occurred on 9÷10÷10 and 9÷13÷10.
Let the activity at this station prove itself to be one of the many reasons why I will be SO damn glad to leave this horrible neighborhood!
