2555 N Clark-Laundry Room

The folks at this building are engaging in some false advertising. It’s not awful, but I’ve seen a lot better. I was in the market for an apartment and went to look at a few units here, because I was impressed by what I saw online, but, in real life, the apartments don’t come close to looking the way they do on the building’s website. They’re also overpriced. On the website, the apartments look reasonably spacious and are painted bright colors. However, the three units I saw had bare white walls, and only one of the three had a kitchen with updated appliances. Regarding the views, one that I saw was of the building’s back parking lot. The other two weren’t that impressive either. As for the «Business Center,» the building’s website fails to mention that it’s just a few computers set up along the wall in the laundry room.
The day after touring this building I found a condo to rent that offers a lot more square footage than what I saw at 2555 N. Clark and costs almost $ 100 less.

It seems odd to even review a laundry room but I have to say that as far as they go, the one at 2555 is pretty nice. It’s convenient to be able to watch tv, browse the internet on the public computers, and even use the free K-​cup coffee machines while you do your laundry. Prices are reasonable and the room itself is right near the elevators.
Not too shabby.
