Run by co-​owners Katie and Ann, we are a small, dedicated dog walking company serving Chevy Chase, MD/​DC, Friendship Heights, DC, and the surrounding areas, committed to giving you and your dog the best personal and reliable care. We offer mid-​day walks and let outs to help your dog be happy, healthy, and well-​adjusted on a day-​to-​day basis.

Why Wag Your Tail?

We offer high quality, straightforward services at competitive prices. Our visits are adaptable to your pup’s individual needs. You can choose to use the time for a long walk, play, feeding, administering medications (no extra charge!), TLC, or whatever combination is best for your dog. We specialize in solo walks, where we can give your dog one-​on-​one attention and also help her practice on-​leash etiquette. Of course, if your dog has a nearby friend in the neighborhood, we’re also happy to take them out together for walks or play dates.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Katie is a life-​long animal lover who has worked in various pet-​care fields for the past 9 years. She spent 3 years working as a dog walker before deciding to venture off with Ann and start a company of their own. Katie is PetTech first aid and CPR certified. When she isn’t playing with dogs, Katie can be found on various stages across Washington where she works as a professional actor. Katie is owned by two cats, Kirby and Stella, and two guinea pigs, Clover and Violet.

Ann was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. She comes from an administrative background and has run her own theatre company, The Impressionable Players, since 2010. A long-​time of lover of animals, Ann has volunteered with Alley Cat Rescue and also the Washington Animal Rescue League, where she served as an Open Paw training instructor for cat volunteers. Ann is PetTech first aid and CPR certified. She shares her home with her ever adorable cats, Oliver and Sophie.
