The breakfast sandwiches and wraps are very good. The lunch wraps are great as well and are my go to. I come here often and highly recommend. It is the perfect lunch that hits the spot but doesn’t leave you in a food coma afterwards.

Went a few weeks back; I’m thinking I may have ordered the wrong items. I went with the corned beef special and got a roast beef for boyfriend. Overall, the sandwiches we got were suitable but the owners are the real shining stars. Family owned and very nice folks! Would return just to support them. It looks like their breakfast sandwiches are the real deal. Would definitely try them next time. This place is a welcome escape from the chain restaurant experience that is friendship heights.

Nice little place for a quick bite. Thank you Unilocal for helping me try out another hidden place. FIrst of all, you can not see this place from the street. I had to walk all the way to the back of the building(the lobby was very impressive). Then I round the corner into this tiny, divey, greasy spoon. The owner was friendly and quick to notice me. I asked for recommendations. He said the Alice was the most popular. Then, as he eyed my size, particularly my middle, I think he reconsidered, and pointed out that the Bulgogi has a larger portion. Well, not really, I just asked about it because I felt more like hot food than sandwiches. So I tried the bulgogi, and although it was probably not blow you away Bulgogi(I for sure am no expert), it was tasty. It was perched atop a generous bed of very delicious short grain rice, and accompanied by a romaine salad with some kind of balsamic mustard vinaigrette. I did ask if there were any tables where I could sit. He recommended outside in the lobby, but it felt too conspicuous. I am sure what everyone walking through this beautiful lobby wants to see is a guy eating his bulgogi out of a Styrofoam container with a plastic fork. I am rarely in the area, but would I go back? For sure. It was a reasonably priced, quick, yummy meal in a place where those things can be hard to find.

Just ordered the Bacon Egg Cheese sandwich on white since the only picture posted looked so good. It was AMAZING, it was hot, fresh, and tasty delicious. It was better than any other breakfast or breakfast sandwich in the area. They took my order over the phone and had it waiting for me within 5 mins. For the sandwich and bottle of Starbucks Frappuccino, it was less than $ 7. Cant wait to walk over tomorrow morning and have another.

This place proves that you don’t need a place to sit down, fancy décor, or a million people helping you. Just a wife and husband earning a living at this tiny corner. With all your available needs during lunch, you can count on this couple to provide you with a delicious sandwich, a protein bar, and a beverage of your choice. The Jack(roast beef) and the Alice(chicken) are two awesome sandwiches with just the right amount of chipotle mayo and avocado(the Alice). If you work in the area or out shopping here, grab a bite and enjoy the outdoor seating near the fountain.

Why five stars for a little deli/quik-mart? Mainly because it is so fast and efficient. If you need a quick on-the-go breakfast in the morning you can zip in and out. The cashier is great. One if the fastest places I’ve been. The food is good too. And a good price. Good, perfectly crispy bacon on the breakfast sandwiches.

I have to second Raycal’s comment about the bacon… where do they get their bacon? It’s delicious!!! They really do have fresh food — I usually get the Alice and the avocado is always bright and green so you know it hasn’t been sitting there all day. Plus it’s nice that they’re always so accommodating to make adjustments. Don’t feel like having a deli sandwich? Try their bulgogi! The meat is so tender and they do NOT skimp on the portion :) If you’re in Chevy Chase, go ahead and support this small business instead of going to other nearby chain lunch places!

I eat breakfast from this Deli usually at least once a week. Their food is fresh and cooked fresh. No day old bacon here! All freshly fried and delicious. They are not stingy with the helping either, the bacon, the egg or the cheese. I hate when I get a breakfast sandwich and they act like they can only give you two measly strips of bacon. I’ve had Lunch from here before and their salads and sandwiches are also very tasty and plentiful. If you are in the Chevy Chase area, give them a try. You will enjoy your meal. They are located in a office building and don’t have anywhere to sit so you will have to take your meal somewhere else to eat it.
