Total Access Urgent Care

This was my first visit to a Urgent Care. After coughing for a week my son told me to go. I am so glad I did. I was greeted with a friendly staff, taken right back. Vitals were taken and the doctor came in a listened to what the problems I was having. Explained what needed to be done. After a x-​ray I was given a breathing treatment and prescriptions I given the offer to buy them there or have them called in to my pharmacy. I choose to purchased them there the cost was lower than I would have paid at the pharmacy. The EMT who first saw me was so nice, and Dr. Schlautman was ever so nice and caring. I received a call to check on how I was doing and to see if the medicine was working. If I ever need medical attention again I will go to this Urgent Care rather than sit at a hospital ER for hours. It was so clean THANK YOU so such for giving me such good care.

Total Access Urgent Care is one of the most professional medical providers I have truly experienced in a long time. They will provide you or your family member with a thorough examination and every time I have visited, within a day I am on my way to recovery. The physicians and EMS staff are all knowledgeable and make you feel very comfortable. The facility is clean and very organized. Also, you are seen very quickly after you arrive, which is wonderful. If you are feeling under the weather… this is the place to go. You will be more than happy that you did.

This was not first experience with this location and being in healthcare myself, I have to say the total experience from check in, wait time (which is generally minimal) on through the vitals process and ultimately to the doc was very efficient and timely in my opinion.
The docs are always willing to listen verses waiting to speak, which is huge for me considering I am the one that is ill. Good job guys !

Was in on Christmas for a bad double break. Everyone on staff were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Bruckel explained my injuries clearly. He and his staff took exceptional care of me. I was in great hands going there. Definitely thankful.

Update: Since my initial review I was contacted by a senior official of Total Access to get a clearer understanding of my experience and how it could be improved. The person I spoke with took direct accountability and assured that the problems would be reviewed with the location. I appreciate the timely response and genuine concern and feel that despite the unfortunate set of events that led to this that should a larger issue be evident it would be corrected and improved in a swift and efficient manner for future clients. As a result of my conversation I am updating my score to a ³⁄₅ based on the confidence of its management teams to address any issues as the arise.
A visit to the Urgent Care is a great alternative to the ER or if your Doc is not available and having been more than once in my life, I’ve been to a number of Urgent Care Facilities. Even without a prior visit to a Urgent Care, you would likely expect that if you made a visit for whatever unfortunate illness you would be treated by a confident and capable Doctor and eventually improve. Well that doesn’t happen at this place, this not only happened during my visit but also when my wife’s visited. One time could be seen as fluke, but two times and two different doctors means there is a larger problem and I can confidently say there will not be a third chance as I will not return to this place.
The interior was normal enough and the desk staff were friendly, the male nurse was even friendly and helpful but that is where the positives end. During my visit only one other person was receiving service in the building, yet I waited in a room for over 30 minutes for the doctor to actually see me. When he came in and I shared the issues I was experiencing, he asked a couple questions and then left to retrieve a medical tool to test my eyes. He fumbled with the tool for 15 minutes with no idea how to use it and finally had to leave and find someone that could show him how to use it… After the results came back he still didn’t have an answer and just gave me some drops and walked out, needless to say no improvement happened.
Now on to the visit my wife experienced, it was similarly ineffective, as the doctor provided minimal direction and medicine in amounts that would be the equivalent of not taking any. Once again, my wife showed no improvement and was forced to see another doctor at an actual Hospital and is now improving. The doctor even commented on the ridiculous amounts of medicine and choices made by the Urgent Care. Basically we wasted a lot of money between the two visits and got nothing out of it.
I would suggest you opt for an actual ER, or the new St. Luke’s Urgent Care in the Valley off THF (not tried personally, but has to be better), or doing nothing — all would be more effective than visiting this place.

Long time Total Access user, first time at Clarkson Road location. All good, in, out, prescription in hand in less than an hour. Can’t wait to get sick again! Ok, just kidding but won’t hesitate to go back when/​if needed.

I saw their TV ad a few weeks ago and went to the Chesterfield location that day. My diverticulitis had reared it’s ugly head.
This place is super professional, clean, modern and well equipped. I felt at ease and was treated like old fashioned doctors used to check you in… temperature, blood pressure, general checkup.
This is really a great alternative to ER and to clinics that only offer nurse practitioners. I saw a very kind, knowledgeable doctor after the nurse did my initial check in.
My antibiotics worked and I will certainly go back if I am ever sick again!

We went here and saw Dr. Ferrall due to the Missus not feeling well. The staff was polite and efficient as the facilities were very clean. There’s a TV in each patient room as well. Dr. Ferrall was very nice and knowledgeable. Great experience overall.

I went here today and had no wait time. I saw the EMT, physician assistant plus the doctor himself. Everyone was really nice and I got a filled prescription (yes they will fill for you, how cool is that? Saved me a trip to the pharmacy) and I was on my way. Getting to see a doctor plus no unnecessary wait (I have been to another urgent care on olive where they kept me room waiting in the exam for over 30 mins and finally a NP came in). This is my go to urgent care from now on.

I had such a great experience with Total Access Urgent Care this afternoon. Recently I’ve been experiencing some random chest pains which were concerning, so I decided to visit. I was in a room and being evaluated by an EMT within minutes. I have EXTREME anxiety, and everyone on staff was very friendly and calmed me down. They immediately gave me an EKG and a chest X-​Ray. Everything was normal. I saw the doctor (Dr. Pharell) within the hour after the tests were ran. He asked me many questions about my general health and wellness. He seemed genuinely passionate and provided referrals to doctors who deal with anxiety and general practice. I am very impressed with this place!

I highly recommend Total Access Urgent Care. I came down with bronchitis and Dr. Fenton and his staff were so compassionate and thorough about my care. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with prescriptions in hand.

This place is awesome. I have seen Dr. Fenton and Dr. Spires and they have phenomenal bedside manor. They don’t bog you down with lots of pills and medical bills. I went to Chesterfield location and have 16 years in the Healthcare field. I have nothing but praise for the providers and their staff esp. Amy!

I came in after a work incident and was shown wonderful hospitality and quick care. I saw about 3 different people. Emt, and doctors. And the receptionists were really nice as well. I got stitches and cleaned up in less than an hour. If I would’ve went to an er that could’ve taken much longer. Thanks!

Total Access Urgent Care is a fantastic facility with kind, knowledgable staff. The nurses and staff were kind, caring, and accommodating, and Dr. Fenton himself had a great bedside manner. He took the time to answer all of my questions and thoroughly explained all aspects of my care. They also have a pharmacy right on site. Thank you Dr. Fenton and staff for a wonderful experience!

I’ve been going to Total Access since I moved to St. Louis 2 years ago. The staff is always very friendly, professional, and does their best to make you feel comfortable! The service is always fast as well as thorough!

Easy to use, friendly staff, quick turnaround, no waiting, clean facility, and even a TV in the exam room! Since I’d visited another location before, I was already in the system and didn’t have to fill out any lengthy paperwork prior to being seen. I would highly recommend Total Access Urgent Care!

Very quick and very good care.

I’m so ecstatic with the service I received from this Urgent Care! I felt rotten at work today, went in around 7PM. Waited less than 5 minutes before they took my information, rang out my co-​pay, and had me seated and ready for the doctor. Dr. Powers and two very nice assistants took my vitals, diagnosed me, and got my meds all ready. I was out the door in 20 minutes.
I had been to different Urgent Cares in Missouri and I always had to go to Walgreens after to fill a prescription. They had the medications on hand! I left with everything I needed. Thank you Total Access staff for a great experience!

Excellent, efficient service. High quality healthcare establishment.
Visiting St. Louis on business. Needed to see a Doctor right away and my colleague knew right where to take me. Now only did they take my insurance and attended to me promptly; my primary physician received the record of my treatment upon my request on the same day. Highly recommend. Because of Dr. Fenton, I am now getting the follow up care I need. Fantastic!
