Established in 1996.

Select Painting started simply, but has since expanded to encompass all aspects of home improvement. Our workmanship and customer satisfaction speak for themselves! In addition to painting services, we also specialize in drywall taping & repairs, water & fire damage repairs, murals & faux finishing, wallpaper installation & removal and custom tailored carpentry to name a few.

But we are perhaps best known for our color selection and coordination… everyone in town knows the ‘beautiful blue house” that is our business location!

A lifelong resident of Cheshire, J fell in love with woodworking at the age of 14 during woodshop at Cheshire High. He applied his knowledge of woodworking to the painting field, and Select Painting was born.

J’s vision for Select has always been to build a company that follows through on its promises and delivers quality work. His greatest satisfaction comes from knowing he’s helped a customer achieve the look and feel that reflects who they truly are.
