Rikeesa is the premier salon & day spa in the area,. We are committed to provide first class service and customer care. Our salon and spa staff is trained and educated by global masters through the Aveda network and institutes. The salon staff specializes in all phases of hair: cutting, coloring, multi-​dimensional color, texturizing, straightening and smoothing, styling, on site wedding and special occasion hair and make up events. We use only Aveda professional products that condition, strengthen and moisturize the hair and recommend a home care régime to follow.

The spa staff is trained to deliver the ultimate spa experience with services that include facials, microdermabrasion, oxygen, and signature facials to address aging or problem skin.

Body care including massage, reflexology, body scrubs and spray tanning and our nail techs that provide excellence in all phases of manicures and pedicures, incuding shellac and paraffin using only sterilized implements.

History

Established in 1984.

Rikeesa opened in a small shopping center in Cheshire with four styling chairs and three stylists in 1984 In the 27 years of business with the support of the community, a wonderful and tremendous client base extending throughout Connecticut and a dedicated staff we were able to build a facility that would provide services in an environment that we felt our clients and the community deserved. Rikeesa is in it’s 27^th year in a 4000 square ft facility to provide excellence in customer service and professional services.

Business Owner

Rick started his career in the salon industry after completing an intensive training at the Sassoon Academy in London, England. His first position as a stylist was in Cheshire, CT, and after a few years of working for other professionals had the opportunity to open his own salon in 1984. His background in education includes training in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Italy, and Minnesota to name a few. His commitment to the profession and desire for continuing education has led him to share his knowledge and give others in the industry an opportunity to grow, learn and tap into their own creativity, professionalism, and innovative skills. The 4000 square foot salon/​spa is the culmination of his hard work, dreams, and the collaboration of a skilled and dedicated staff.
