The parking lot is clean. The staff is friendly and very professional. The lobby and rooms are clean. I was very pleased with my room, no mold, mildew and the room smells nice. Only three downers. 1. The free Wi-Fi is slow 2. The hallway smells of smoke. 3. The breakfast is a joke. All in all I would stay here again

Not bad at all. I wasn’t expecting much, just looking for a decent nights sleep. The room exceeded my expectations

Last minute trip to go to Va Beach & I used Expedia to find a hotel. Nothing was available remotely close to the beach(I expected that). I found this Super 8 on Expedia & they were offering a 2 night special so I thought sure why not? I called ahead to make sure if I just showed up without a reservation Id be okay. The lady who answered acted like she was too busy to answer that question. I also tried asking how far away the hotel was from the beach… she said«10 min»…negative. It was 30min(just fyi) Arrived around 11pm Friday night. The door to our room #215 was propped open(freaky!) the bathroom door was completely shut(scary!!) nothing was found in the room(thank god)…the room for $ 67/night wasnt too bad. It kinda smelled like it used to be a smoking room(which is probably correct). Other than that, you do get what you pay for. It wasnt the Hilton but it was okay.

I didn’t stay at this hotel because when I called to book the woman who answered very rudely told me I had to call back in 5 minutes since she was too busy to speak to me, or even answer my question as to whether they even had vacancy, rather. If that’s how the staff handles customers calling to pay them money for a room, I can only imagine how I would have been treated there as a «guest.» PASS.

As a young woman traveling alone, I was a little worried about staying in a cheap hotel, but this Super 8 exceeded my expectations. The front desk appeared to be guarded with bulletproof glass, but I didn’t see anyone sketchy loitering about, and there was a family with young children staying in the room next to mine. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Best of all, to my surprise, the nonsmoking rooms are truly nonsmoking! I found during my hotel search that most cheap hotels simply clean a room and remove the ashtray and then call it «nonsmoking,» but really, all of the rooms have been smoked in. However, here, they made a point that there was never smoking allowed in the rooms designated as nonsmoking. My room didn’t smell like smoke at all! The free continental breakfast was what you’d expect: coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, toast, cinnamon buns. I would stay here again.
