Jimmy John’s

First of, took me forever to get the iPhone app to recognize my address. Finally, I got it handled. We’ve ordered delivery twice. Both times our food got to us quick. Drivers are always super friendly. The sandwiches are great & hit the spot when you’re just in the mood for a hearty sandwich. I love their gigantic kosher pickles too! I get mine cut in fourths. Nice substitute for chips!

My first time eating here and the subs were absolutely delicious! I will definitely be coming back here again!

Booooo. How can you serve up a tuna sub with not a drop of seasoning on the tuna. NO. So I asked for salt and pepper to season it my self. They do not have salt and pepper. So I cannot tell you if the sub was good, I did t eat it.

I absolutely love Jimmy Johns but this is by far the slowest Jimmy Johns I’ve ever been to and I’ve been here on more than one occasion. We ordered 2 Turkey Toms at the drive through and they asked us to pull up and wait in the parking lot for it to be delivered because it was taking so long. I will most likely still return because the location is closest to me and the food is always consistent but don’t go here and expect the notorious «freaky fast» service.

Jimmy johns is good… but the only thing I ever get there is the gargantuan. The bread is always fresh. I like to add a little guacamole and oil and vinegar to my sandwiches. Unfortunately when I have tried other… smaller sandwiches from jimmy johns I’m left completely unsatisfied. Go big or go home I guess.

this jimmy johns is awesome! i work at a call center in the area, even with the crappy traffic lights around here they’re still able up hold their promise to be really really fast! i dont know how they do it. my order is always right, & they even follow the special delivery instructions to text instead of call when they’re here. th folk in the store a pretty nice too. love this jimmy johns wish i could take their consistency every where i go

JIMMY JOHS SO MUCH BETTER THAN SUBWAY customer service and quality control. subs have always pleased me I ALWAYS GET THE #9 Italian night club with extra vinaigrette have them cut it in half and use it for two meals. this location offers outdoor seating. In the shade on a nice day for lunch has been so relaxing. only problem I had was I had to request the umbrella at the table be put up the first visit it was already up. I imagine it was just a minor slip up. they had no arguments with putting it up and did it immediately, because if I do it and it breaks then I’m liable. staff was great was a reasonable wait time since it was the lunch time end rush time frame. this is my second time at this location the other locations like portsmouth and such I haven’t been in to eat always taken out my food due to circumstances (i.e. work).

Idk what all the fuss is about this place… the sub presentation was aweful, I ordered a tuna and decided to open it and it looked horrible, it didn’t have enough of anything and the taste was aweful. Oh and they don’t have any hot sauces or fries…

Pissed off! How do you put one slice of meat on a sub? I ordered 5 subs and they ALL had almost no meat on them… the ham sub was literally one piece of ham… I’ll never go here again.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. It has been a while since I ordered from jimmy johns but I was expecting the same quality sub that I had in the past. I ordered a full size sub (the Pepe, I believe) online for delivery. Yes, delivery was very quick and the sub tasted fine. But there was literally ONE folded slice of ham and ONE slice of cheese, plus two and a half tiny slices of tomato. The rest was lettuce. I posted a picture. Very disappointed in my $ 6 sub.

Normally I never have any problems with their food, its always great and amazing but today had to be the worst we have ever have. I usually get my mom the pepe and beef it up, when I added extra lettuce and she bit into it she said it tasted like oinions, so I took a bit and tasted oinions. Keep in mind it does not come with oinions. She has an allergy to oinions so right away I just lost it because I work at a place similar to that and I know you need to be careful. But after 2 rounds of brushing our teeth and mouthwash and a epi-​pen later we know we won’t be doing this as our girls lunch again.

I think I might always recommend Jimmy John’s. The sandwiches are simple but delicious (#6 is my favorite!). In addition to the good food and friendly service, the establishment is clean and welcoming. I would come again!

Great service, and it is always made quickly. They also make quality sandwiches. I will eat here any day! So affordable too!

Just moved to the neighborhood and I wanted to try places I’ve never been to, so this was my first time going to this place as well. Can’t remember what I ordered but it was a standard/​typical sub, nothing special. The guy that fixed my sub did it so quick that I really didn’t have a chance to experience the different options they had.

Prices are pretty good compared to subway. My husband prefers jimmy to subway. Plus they deliver. Staff was very quick to help and not invovled with themselves in conversation. Clean and friendly. I wish they offered some type of milk product for kids vs just soda or water.

A grinder in a blink of an eye! Every time I find myself at a sandwich shop, I can never stray away from the good ol’ roast beef… so that’s why I had. Great bread, tasty beef and provolone cheese, and thinly shredded lettuce. This grinder reminds me of grinder shops in Connecticut where I grew up, so I instantly loved it. Also had one of their kosher dill pickles, which was also excellent. Service was friendly and lightning fast — great concept for a sandwich shop.

I love this place. Friendly staff, quick service, and great food. I normally get #10, and it’s always awesome. I’ve tried the regular bread, the whole wheat sandwich, and the unwich varieties and they all beat any other sub places’ roast beef. Highly recommend.

Saw this new place a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try today. They’re located right next door to Harris Teeter.
JJ’s has a full menu of 8 inch or 12 inch subs. I had the #9 Italian Night Club off the 12 inch menu. Not bad at all. There was plenty of meat and the vinaigrette was excellent. My only complaint, to much mayo. That’s my own fault, not theirs.
The staff was nice and my co-​worker and I talked to the owner for a few minutes who was very friendly. The sandwich was also better than any Subway I’ve ever been into. Give them a try.

This location was more pleasant than some other Jimmy John’s locations I have been to, in that the employees acted like normal and polite people. I ordered my Vito (Italian sub), and was eating and enjoying it right away. It was maybe a little light on the vinaigrette and salami, but still tasty.
I mention the polite employees in contrast to the hipster-​y jerks I have encountered at other locations, who are usually too busy standing around adjusting their fake keffiyehs, waiting for an opportunity to go out on their fixies for a delivery than to provide reasonable and courteous service. I love the Vito so much though that I’ll put up with a bit of that nonsense. Luckily, there was none of that to be had here! Just yummy sandwiches.
