Grinders, FTW. Very cool, chill staff. Friendly and polite. The wait is never long and the food is always delicious. Zero’s over Subway any day. LMAOO. I really have no complaints about this location.

I’ve been here a couple of times now since returning to Chesapeake and I’m happy to see that this Zero’s has stepped up it’s game and making subs the way they used to. I ordered a Club Sub for carry out today(no lunch special on the weekends) and was there not even ten minutes before the sandwich was prepared, oven baked and wrapped up. The sandwich was excellent, service fast and friendly and the price came out to under $ 10. Great visit.

Hey, what can I say. This is good, dependable, consistent food. I love me a whole hot grinder with hot peppers. If not that, then a tuna-melt with bacon on it(try it before you say yuck!!). Certainly can’t hurt hitting them on a Tuesday when you can get 2 oven baked subs for $ 10.99. If done right it can make at least 2 if not 3 days lunch, and the taste makes it worth doing. Now, i will say this, the dour faced young fellow behind the register may not be a bag o’fun, and sometimes offers some… err… unique commentary, but he is never loud or outright rude, so much like folks dealing with me, just let it slide and enjoy a nice lunch. Good luck, and get out there, enjoy the weather and grab a sub to go!

I’ve been coming here for what seems like my whole life. I absolutely love the steak sub, it is better than anything at subway but for the same price. Last time I was there the service was terrible. The kid at the register seemed annoyed that we were there and was not warm or polite at all.
