History

Established in 1965.

My dad started out as a Chicken Delight franchise in 1965. In the early 70’s Chicken Delight was bought out by a foreign company and the local franchisees decided to leave that company. In 1972, Chicken Galore was established. At this point my dad had developed our golden chicken batter recipe, which is still used to this day. Because we have such a high demand for our chicken we now have the McCormick Spice Company produce our unique batter. My dad decided that drop-​off catering was a future to get into and our catering service was born. As we developed other products my dad was looking for a name that explained what we sold and in 1978 Chick-​N-​Pizza Works was Born

I started in the businss with my dad when i was 12 that was 1976. After graduating high school I attended DeVry university in Columbus OH. continuing to work in the family business after graduating college I went to work for hitaci instruments working on electorn microscopes. In1995 my dad passed suddenly and i was asked to help out till mom could find a buyer. We had a day during that time when we were cooking over 7000 pcs of chicken for our catering business. Thats when i realized my dad spent his life training me to be there at that moment running the business. I left Hitachi and have been in charge ever since.

I am married and have 4 childern
