Stayed in the Coyote Bluff cabin. Day 1: Arrived late, 8:30PM so it was dark out and the road in was a little rough. On our arrival lights were on and music playing. First thing we noticed was the cabin was somewhat smaller than we anticipated based on the pictures we saw prior to renting. Checked out what was provided in the kitchen and found it minimal, but sufficient for 2 people. Day 2: AMAZINGVIEW!!! Large windows overlooking the mountains but no window coverings which is kinda creepy at night. Found the drive out ok but can see that it would be challenging if you were in a car and not a truck as we were. It’s about a 20 minute drive into Ellijay for shopping. Picked up groceries and firewood. Bring wood and starter if you want a fire or pay the agent $ 6/bundle if you want them to provide it. Went to start a fire on our return but nothing to light the fire with. Had to improvise using the gas stove but it all worked out. Found the hot tub ready for use but entry/exit somewhat difficult due to it being set down off the deck requiring you to step down off the deck into the hot tub. Day 3: Decided to stay in and enjoy the view, the quite and watch the Gator game, thank god we were secluded since we were in Bulldog Country. LOL No window treatments to the large windows made watching the game kind of tough due to the fact it was a clear bluebird day outside making it a bright contrast when looking up at the TV above the fireplace. Started a nice fire in the fireplace again and roasted a few marshmallows. The fireplace does keep the place cozy warm. The biggest issue we experienced during our stay was an odor found only in the master bedroom. Not sure of the origin but may have been due to mice or a small dead animal in the crawl space beneath the structure. CONCLUSION: Not a bad stay but not sure we would stay at this particular cabin again but the overall experience was ok except for that smell. Location was convenient while not being in town and it had a great view. The hot tub access was difficult and not conducive to using it. If you choose to stay don’t think you will have a bad time and may overcome the issues we encountered.

These cabins are beautiful and very private. The road to the cabins has been labeled the«oh my gosh» road for good reason. Our two wheel drive vehicle survived it but needed an alignment after we returned home. Would recommend a four wheel drive vehicle if you have one. The cabin we stayed in(windrush) was quite beautiful. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. For the amount of money these cabins cost we had expected a full set of towels for each of us for showering but the only towels provided were one floor towel, one hand towel, and one small towel that wouldn’t even wrap around my head to dry my hair. We thankfully had brought beach towels for the hot tub and used those for showering as well. Also would not recommend the upgrade packages as the items provided just aren’t worth the expense. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably will choose somewhere less expensive next time.
