The Captains House Inn was built in 1839 by sea captain Hiram Harding for his bride and nine children. Today, the inn’s four buildings consist of sixteen sumptuously appointed guestrooms and is a AAA four diamond property.

Business Owner
Jill and James have owned and operated the Captains House Inn since 2006. Prior to taking ownership, they owned the Carriage House Inn in Chatham which they took over in 2003. Together, the manage all operations of the inn with their international staff.
