They are always very professional and friendly. The food is always cooked perfectly. Very pleased with this location.

Quick and easy take out for our larger family gatherings. Grilled chicken is tasty and nice alternative to pizza!

Called at 9:57 and was told they were closed… Hmm says they close at 10pm. won’t be ordering from there anytime soon.

This chicken shack is a hit!
Whenever we try different chicken shack locations it’s definitely either hit or miss.
I.e. 23 mile rd location is a miss.
We got our usual the «super special»
Slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken, broasted potatoes and coleslaw.
Everything was fresh and hot!
They were a little busy, and they forgot my coleslaw. Which is fine, I’m over it. It happens
Definitely will be back!

So my husband and I go in for lunch and order the lunch combos. The woman at the counter informs us that the pop machine is out of order, and that’s not an option. She has 2 liter bottles in the cooler behind her, but won’t use those either. Then, I ask for bottled water instead. She says she has some but can’t give it with the lunch combo, and also won’t reduce the price of the lunch combo and just leave out the drink.
Needless to say, we left empty handed. I was very disappointed that an establishment had an issue but was so unwilling to find a solution or accommodate a customer and keep the business. Although I was a frequent customer here, I will NOT be returning.

$ 36.02, yes I said $ 36.02. Can’t get it out of my head. 12 pcs of chicken and a rib snack for my daughter. Grilled chicken was dry. And I mean choke on it dry. Ribs were burnt beyond edible. I don’t wanna sound mean about the ribs, like a little char on mine for taste, but not this charcoal. Really burns a Dad up when your daughter has to heat up 2 day old pizza, when I just spent $ 36.02. One more spin in the blender and this coleslaw was liquid. the Sobecks have had a local chicken delicacy around here since I was a kid, (now I’m 51) but sorry, not at this location. I was so looking forward to it opening close to my house. John & Iola, keep the $ 36.02…but never again…

I arrived around 11:18 am and the place was empty so it kind of scared me. I wasn’t sure if it was open or not, but I mustered up my courage and walked in. This Chicken Shack opened up around 6 weeks ago and it’s very bright, clean, and the employees are friendly. I ordered a Tender Bites lunch special and asked for a small coleslaw to be added to my order. My food took around 8 to 10 minutes to be prepared and the server brought it out to me at my table. I noticed I didn’t have a drink and when I asked, the server said he thought I wanted the small coleslaw instead of my drink. I said no, that’s not what I meant but I paid for my small pop anyway which was only 99 cents before tax. Misunderstandings happen so what can ya do? I was so hungry and I dug in to my tender bites and they were so juicy, crispy, and hot right out of the fryer. The broasted potatoes were awesome too; they were smothered in clarified butter. The coleslaw was delicious also. This place is 6 minutes from my work and I can’t wait to come back again. Next time I will specify that I do want my drink with my order and to upcharge me for the extra coleslaw.
