My parents had been raving about this place for a while now, and they’re right. It’s awesome. Basically no notes from me… The menu is easy to understand, and the place itself is clean and hipster inside. I actually asked for a wrap with chicken and falafel together, which I thought they’d shoot down. but they made it, and it was fresh and delicious. make sure to ask for extra sauce because they’re all good(you can’t go wrong… I tried them all) and you’ll want to do some added drizzling. The staff were not falling-over-themselves friendly, but the trade-off is that they were helpful and patient for this newbie making his order. Highly recommended.

Sticks is a sure bet every time. I usually get the beef or shrimp salad. Friendly faces and fresh, delicious food — I love this place!

Found this spot while lost on vacation and stopped in for some kebobs. Decent, not the best I’ve had. The beef had an odd flavor, the cucumber salad was not anything like what I have had in any other kebob place– they were heavy handed on the spices here and the tomatoes were mooshy. The chicken was great, the pita bread was nice and the cucumber sauce was excellent. I would eat there again.

Good place to eat healthy. Hummus is proper and cucumber tomato salad is fresh. If you like meat on a stick, this place is a must. Friendly staff and fast.

I have been eating at Sticks for many years. It is one of my favorite lunch spots. The line does get long in the middle of the day so I try to go a little early or a little late to avoid the rush. The food is always great and the staff is always friendly.

Our family ate here and the next day we were all sick with food poisoning. The only place we were all together. The food was mediocre. Prices were ok. They burnt the shrimp. I talked to the manager about the sickness and all we got was their food is high quality. Well the doctors office said different! Eat next door at Christian’s pizza. Tastier and cleaner!

I have eaten at Sticks 3 times now and have been very pleased! I work nearby so I use their free mobile app to order, my food is always ready when I get there. Ordering from the app saves time and you don’t have to wait in line. The first time I had the falafel platter w/cucumber salad, rice, flatbread, and hummus. The falafel was not the best I had but the overall experience made me want to go back. Also the flatbread and hummus was amazing. The second time I had a shrimp wrap w/red pepper sauce, and fries. So good! No complaints! Today I had a romaine salad w/shrimp and flatbread. Again really good! Would definitely recomend this place to my friends.

I had the sirloin beef flatbread sandwich($ 6.99) with the cucumber yogurt sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes. The beef was tender with a nice marinated char-broiled flavor and was plentiful. My daughter and son-in-law had the sirloin platter($ 9.99) with rice, salad and pita bread and a hot pepper sauce. My 3 year old grandson had the $ 4.99 kids meal which was the same sirloin beef kabob with rice and raw carrot sticks and a juice box. The portions are hearty. Located in a strip shopping center, the parking is plentiful. The restaurant is clean and the staff friendly. You also have the option of ordering in advance of your arrival with their free app on your smart phone.

We have been eating at Sticks for years. We love the food and the owners are local. I have eaten at 3 locations but we always end up at Pantops. The preparation is always good and the staff is always friendly. Highlights for us… we LOVE the chicken kabobs. The lime cilantro dressing is amazing. My wife loves the lemon sesame sauce as well. The rice is always perfectly cooked and delicious. What seals the deal though is the hummus and grilled pita bread. Outstanding! Kid friendly meals available and we always feel good when we are done eating. Can’t say that about many fast casual places. We compare this to Chipotle but Mediterranean. Fresh, quick and DELICIOUS.

Very fast thoroughly decent food. Excellent and friendly service as well. A great alternative to all the sandwich shops in C’ville. Don’t expect a ton of food with the kabobs, but the sides make up for it. The hummus is excellent, but steer clear of the eggplant. I would also recommend the flafel; they made it into hearts for Valentine’s Day– a fun and appreciated twist.

Oh Sticks, let me count the ways I love thee. Sticks is my go to place for both lunch and dinner. I try to only eat there once a week but sometimes its much more! I always get either the Chicken Platter or the Salad with Chicken, always the creamy cilantro lime dressing. I’d change it up more but they do them both so well I just dont see the point! It is convenient and quick. I dont eat fast food so it is the perfect alternative when I am on the go and need something quick but healthy.

The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. The upside: The hummus. Its amazing! The cucumber dip is incredible and their pita bread and pita chips are yummy! The portion sizes are not too large/not too small. The downside: Their falafel is a bit dry, their salads are too dry but you can get extra dressing. An affordable, healthy place to eat with lots of good options for various tastes!

Let me be clear: I am giving 2 stars only because the service was very friendly. I ordered the veggie side sampler, and my husband ordered the lamb kabob. The food came out instantaneously, seemingly having just beeped its way out of a steaming microwave. We were already nervous. We were right to be nervous. Then we started eating. The bread was tasteless, hummus was a disaster, tabouleh was far from fresh, and the cold eggplant salad was simply gross. Granted, my husband did like his lamb kabob, but it needed salt and was tiny. Oh, and I fully agree with the suspicions of other Unilocalers that the falafel was pre-made and microwaved. With all the tasty options in C’ville, will not be visiting this place again. To be fair, the mango lemonade was good, I thought, although my husband disagreed.

I had the falafel. Not a great choice. They used what seemed to be frozen preformed falafel balls. I’ll try something else next time. Very clean, helpful staff. Great coffee!

The first time I ate here, I didn’t know what to order and hated what I got. I didn’t go back for five years! When I finally did, I went with someone who apparently knew what to order, and I got the same thing he got — chicken platter with creamy cilantro lime sauce and a side of hummus — and I’ve been hooked eversince. Not only hooked, but I’m a regular now, and they know me and what I order! The food is always served quickly as well. It’s on the pricey side for lunch, however.

I gave it a 4, hubs a 2. I had the veggie kabobs, hummus and the rice/pita platter thing plus a lime-aid. All tasty, affordable and quick. I don’t remember what meat kabob hubs got, but he was sad it was only one(whereas I got 2) and he got the eggplant salad /dip thing and he was not a fan. I let him have ½ of my hummus. This was of no fault to the actual restaurant, but there were LOUD screaming kids in there… kinda ruined the ambiance of the great view out the side window…

This is a great alternative to fast food in Charlottesville. It’s relatively healthy and there is a nice variety of flavors to choose from. I usually get the chicken kabob sandwich with roasted red pepper sauce and grilled onions. It’s very satisfying. The platter is great but the only complaint I have about it is the white rice. It would be better if there was a brown rice alternative. The hummus is SUPERB. Seriously, try it. I usually get it to take home. Way better than any hummus you can find in a supermarket and comparable in price. The limeade is also great! The soups are pretty decent. It says at the top that alcohol is not served — actually they have beer and wine in bottles at this location. Great views of the Blue Ridge if you sit on the window side.

Sticks is a nice fast food alternative serving kebobs on warm, soft pitas or on salads, with your choice of meat, sauce and sides. The kibbeh is especially tasty, particularly when coupled with the cucumber yogurt sauce. Add some of the hot sauce they leave on the pick up counter, and you’re good to go. But if you are seeking falafel, forget it. The falafel seems to be reheated and, as seems to be the pattern in C’ville, they don’t have tahini sauce.

I had an amazing lamb kebob and the limeade is awesome. I didn’t try anything else.
