History

Established in 2013.

Pigment was developed by professional artist and designer, Christy Baker, as the creative division of Piedmont Paint & Finish (Est. 2005) — a paint contracting company based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Our growing clientele include interior designers, decorators, architects, builders and home owners.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Our creative director and lead designer, Christy Baker, is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She has many years of experience as a muralist and decorative painter as well as in interior, graphic and product design. Currently, she manages all aspects of Pigment and provides color consultations for individuals and businesses.

With over a decade of experience with antique and vintage furniture, she serves as Pigment’s head buyer.
