Meet the Business Owner

Kim S.

Business Owner

Kim & Pascale Salahie, Owners

Pascale, hailing from the Loire Valley in France & Kim of Ann Arbor Michigan — London (a long story he may well impart upon request…) met too many years ago to mention at a French Restaurant in London, The Hermitage, located not far from the British Museum. After being apart for many years, the couple rediscovered each other one Holiday season. Two daughters, and several pets later, they decided to return to their roots by acquiring ZEBRA from Jim & Lisa Alexander.

Kim spent his initial working years in London cooking & managing French Restaurants (& upon occasion juggled both responsibilities at the same time…) Along with the Hermitage Restaurant in Russell Square, the Carapace & the Everyman Café in Hampstead were ports of call. After 20 years in corporate food service which included a National Restaurant News Top 50 R & D Culinarian award, the draw of a return to his culinary roots proved too tempting to resist.
