Very nice and spacious, love the ease of getting a flight and their barrel aged stuff is great. Liked their fall winter brews but not a huge fan of their standbys. Very dog friendly.

Great brewery. Outdoor seating is plentiful, staff are approachable and attentive, and they attract solid food trucks as well. They are very dog friendly as well so that always helps.

This is a nice brewery. There is a spacious outdoor patio and lots of indoor seating. They are very dog friendly and even host events like an adopters and fosterers reunion that donates a percentage of the proceeds to the SPCA. Then, I learned that patrons allow their dogs on top of the tables. Gross.
Anyway, it’s located near a lot of new apartment buildings and we parked down the street for a short walk. They have flights. I thought their beers were ok. There’s usually a food truck parked out front if you get hungry.

What a COOL vibe!!! Took our out-​of-​town friends here for Small Business Saturday and we had the best time chilling in the yard. We had a flight + 3 snifters and all were outstanding. Loved the food trucks outside and all around had an excellent day. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Very cool spot!

Great beer and great food trucks! I have never been disappointed with a beer from Triple C. I do have dog allergies and they do allow pets inside so just be prepared to smell dog. They do flights which is a great way to try multiple beers!

Stopped in to grab a beer, finally! I had the «Baby maker» years ago and have been talking about coming here since then. I had a flight of their beers, delicious! The vibe there was great. Running clubs, yoga in the warehouse dogs everywhere and food truck out front. I loved it. I will definitely come back.

The atmosphere at Triple C is what makes this place. Perfect venue to grab a few beers with a big group of people. Every beer I’ve tried here has been on point. The best times I’ve had is when they open up the back area for ping-​pong and corn hole. They have TVs for football season and if you live in south end its awesome to be in walking distance.

Hands down my favorite brewery in Charlotte. Been coming here a little more than 2 years and the flavors never get old. My favorite beers are the Smoked Amber, Light Rail Pale Ale, or the Greenway IPA. In the summer I make sure not to miss a pint of Hyzer Hefewiezen while it is on tap.
Great outdoor or indoor seating and they always have the best games on TV with awesome music. On Thursday nights they have Triple C Beer Runners or Yoga in the warehouse so you can get some exercise in with great people before having a pint. Most days of the week there is a food truck outside in case you get hungry. Great setup, beers, and staff!!!

Tucked away in the South End, Triple C is flanked by some furniture stores, industrial looking businesses and an apartment complex. The location is a little bit weird as there is no other restaurants or stores besides those already mentioned. Parking is extremely tight sometimes too.

It a pretty chill venue. There’s a moderate sized gravel lot in the back which is utilized for small festivals or events. The outside has picnic tables where you and fido can enjoy an ice cold craft brew. Inside is nice as well and there’s live music sometimes. Can get a little crowded during peak times on the weekend.
Cleanliness: ⁴⁄₅
Definitely a clean place. The neighborhood may not be the same based on the day. Nothing major, just a straggling beer can or trash here and there.

The bar keeps have always been friendly and are pretty engaged when you ask questions about their beer.

Great line-​up of in-​house brews. I think they have a craft beer for each palate, whether it be the wheat /​hefeweizen lover like myself or those fond of the bitter, aromatic IPAs.

OMG, I did not realize that this brewery was so close. I almost purchased a bottle of the Baby Maker DIPA as a joke for a couple from Total Wine once. For my first beer, I got the Zest-​A –Peel which was delicious. My friend got the Hyzer Hefeweizen and that was great as well.
It was extremely difficult to get a beer at the bar, I wish that they would implement a system to make it easier to get a drink. They also have a bar outside but the selection is limited.
They had a food truck and a band which is always an enjoyable experience, I would definitely return the next time that I am in the area!

Great use of outdoor space, with covered tables to block some of the heat, and a small stage for live music and a smaller selection of beers on tap outside. Comfortable dog friendly indoor area.
Unfortunately for me, their beers are all too heavy and bitter. If you are an IPA fan, you will likely their beers, however even their Golden Ale, which was one of their «lightest» beers, was more bitter than I prefer… especially on a hot summer afternoon when I’m not pairing it with food.

I enjoy coming here a lot. The beer is pretty good, the space is fantastic, they allow dogs, have a killer patio area, always have a food truck. There’s not much to the area, hence the short review, but check it out. The Baby Maker DIPA is one of the best you’ll find around, and they always have a fun new brew on tap. Cheers!

Good thing that Baby Maker double IPA is all words and no actions. It was one of the tastiest beers I tried by Triple C and was made even tastier as I enjoyed it sitting outside on their patio listening to an excellent local band live. Triple C offers an inviting atmosphere, with lots of inside and shaded outside sitting, plenty of bartenders [although their customer service is «eh”], live music on Saturday early afternoon/​evening and the variety of food trucks. The parking lot is very small, but you can park on the streets for no charge. I was also a fan of their 3C IPA, which you can find canned all over town, but their Greenway IPA wasn’t my favorite.
Out of all the breweries we went to, they had the best live band, which might not seem like a big deal, but when you’re enjoying a day of brewery hopping and almost every brewery has a musician, they can really make or break the experience. Although Triple C also has an outside bar (located right next to the picnic tables), the selection is not as good as inside, so I’d recommend the latter. If you’re looking for a great tour of the South End breweries, I recommend starting with Triple C, driving to Lenny Boy and walking from there to Sycamore with dinner a short walk away at one of the restaurants in South End, Dillworth.

Usually when more competition enters a market, the new competition saturates the market and the quality is not as good. Triple C still makes decent beer, but I much prefer the nearby Sycamore brewing. Their beer is better, they have more of a a selection, and a lot less rug rats running around.

Met some friends for a Thirsty Thursday happy hour here and LOVED it. I’m not a beer drinker, however I found a good beer that I could sip slowly on. My Hubs favorite is the Baby Maker which makes me giggle every time he orders it!
Great space with long tables for sitting. Food truck is there to provide tasty noms. Gotta love Triple C!

I love this local brewery. Great beer and cool space. It is tucked back off South Blvd and lots of parking on the streets around it.
My favorite beer is Baby Maker– because it is a higher gravity beer, you get a smaller pour. The others have great flavor. I love most that the entire brewery is dog friendly. I mean what could be better than chilling out drinking with your four legged best bud! Food trucks can be found parked outside to provide a great snack/​meal. Check out Papi Queso on Wednesdays.
Only downfall is that they close at 9pm. But I highly recommend an afternoon in the sunshine at the picnic tables at Triple C!

Someone suggested Triple C as a possible next stop when we had been listing the breweries we visited during our trip, so that very evening we hopped on the train to see what it was all about.
Well, first we saw what looked like a hundred people running AWAY from the brewery as we were the only people going TOWARDS it. But that turned out to be an actual thing, the bartender said they’d be back in force pretty soon. So we ordered a flight to try out a selection of beers, then picked two others and took those outside to claim a table while we still could.
Triple C has a pretty classic brewery style to it, industrial on the outside and sort of rustic/​functional inside, with a bunch of picnic tables outside for additional seating. We enjoyed all of the sampled beers, and I especially loved the seasonal Lebowski-​themed stout «The Dude Imbibes», which wasn’t available as a part of the flight but I ordered anyway because I just had to.
The brewery is VERY dog friendly, which was great, but once or twice I saw a completely unattended dog wandering around. One young puppy tried to make an escape out to the street, but being near the exit I called it over to me and played with it for a few minutes before someone finally came to look for him. That could have ended badly. If you’re going to bring your dog here, please keep them on a leash so you don’t lose track of them.

With all the new breweries opening up in Charlotte, there is mad competition: who’s got the best beer, who has the best tap room, who has the best food to pair with their beer… so many «bests» and in my mind Triple C has really checked that list off. When they first opened, I believe they had the best tap-​room space and layout — at the time most brewery tap rooms catered to more of a «functional space» = tight, not too warm, drink-​your-​beer-​and-​go spaces. The combination of large tables, warm wood, and a dog friendly atmosphere makes Triple C’s tap room a fun visit.
Food-​wise, Triple C does not have their own kitchen, but smartly brought the kitchens in the form of mobile food trucks to them! It’s pretty great to have a «rotating menu» and the staff can really focus on delivering the beer, making it the best it can be, and not really have to divide their attention to food prep.
Now the best part: BEER! The Baby Maker has become a real «go-​to» beer for me which is super fun, but they have a wide selection of beers to choose from and a great seasonal/​special selection as well. The other day I had a rum-​barrell-​aged The Force, which was spectacular at 8.8% — it was like dogs cuddling with cats in your mouth. If you don’t like the high alcohol content beers, they have plenty of light beers to choose from and definitely more dark, heavy beers like stouts or black IPAs.
Extracurricular (s): Thursday evenings there is a Triple C run group that meets at 6:30pm to run along the light rail corridor. It’s a great run (fairly flat) and what is not better than a celebratory beer to undo. I mean re-​hydrate. I mean celebrate being fit and active. Also on Thursdays, the Yoga Dude comes by for a one hour yoga class for $ 5 and you get a free beer after class.
Overall, I think Triple C is here to stay as one of the major «players» in the Charlotte brew scene. My opinion his that a lot of breweries took some notes on Triple C and really focused on creating warm, inviting tap spaces… with all the competition, it’s only going to get better for beer lovers in Charlotte.

This is an incredible brewery in Charlotte. Triple C is a great place to come get a pint after work, play some foosball with some friends, or catch a game on their multiple big screens.
I went to Triple C for the first time yesterday (Independence Day) and was immediately impressed. I walked in overwhelmed by the big space that they had for the bar and tasting room. While leaning over the bar, pondering what beer I was going to sample first, a man standing to the side of the bar began to chat me up. I later realized that this was one of the owners of the place. He let me know that I should try a flight, so that I could get a good feeling for all of their different types of beers. He also let me know that they had a special release for the Fourth of July. The name of this beer was «Coming in Hop», and he informed me that it was an IPA that was aged in bourbon barrels.
Taking the owner’s advice, my girlfriend and I got the flight and the «Coming in Hop» to sample and share. Triple C has a lot to offer as far as beers go, and no matter what style of beer you enjoy, Triple C will have something for you. In my flight, I tried their Porter, Smoked Amber, Greenway IPA, and Triple C IPA. They were all solid beers. I’m normally not much for Porters, but this one was smooth, drinkable, and not too heavy. It also still managed to have a nice full flavor to it. My favorite of the flight was the Triple C IPA, which I was informed was their best seller. My least favorite was the Smoked Amber.
The «Coming in Hop» was very interesting. It was an IPA with an alcohol content of 10.5%. You would never have guessed by tasting it though. It was not harsh or boozy at all. It also had a very oaky taste that hit you in the back of the throat. Not too hoppy, which was a little disappointing, but it is an interesting release that should be given a try.
As noted by other Unilocalers, this place is filled with dogs. I don’t see this as a negative. All of them were pretty well behaved and just added to the fun atmosphere, in my opinion.
They have a nice clean tasting room inside, which has plenty of seating and space to stand and hangout by the bar. They also have a nice area outside with picnic tables and umbrellas. This is an incredible spot to have a beer on a nice warm day.
As far as food goes, Triple C almost always has a food truck parked out front. This works out well for the brewery and its patrons. The brewery can focus all of its attention on the beer and the patrons get delicious food from local food trucks. The food truck that was parked out front when I was there was Vito’s Pizza. Their food is delicious and they will be getting a review of their own.
Triple C is exactly what a brewery should be: a place with a great beer selection, friendly owners and staff, welcoming environment, good atmosphere, and a focus on the local neighborhood. Go get yourself a flight or a pint and check it out for yourself.
