Moved here recently and went to the local store for a backpack. I purchased the backpack and walked out – but the staff had closed one of the two very transparent and nearly invisible entrance/exit doors with no sandwich board or other marking and I walked right into it lacerating my forehead. Staff indicated that other people had already done this but they had taken no action despite prior occurrences to protect their customers. I received a call from Risk Management telling me that they didn’t need to call me since I had not gone to the hospital and had no damages. I also received a call from the district manager with no followup. I can see where The North Face’s priorities are and in my experience it’s not to protect the customer. I may not ever return after the very nasty call from their risk management agent.
