This store is located in E terminal(close to E Gate 11). Of course it is at the airport so the line is always long. But they manage the long line pretty well and I come out from it fairly quickly and pleasantly. Employees are friendly especially the male manager figure works very efficiently. My latte was not the best one I ever had from Starbucks but it is good enough.

The most unpleasant visit in 15 years to Starbucks. As many do this location is not to sit and lounge like others in main terminal, this is a quick grab and go between terminal E and D. I hope this is the right location where the three incompetent employees I did encountered today. This is how it went. I was in a line yet one female asked to order which was very nice. Then the female number 1 disappeared. Male number 2 took my money and asked male number 3 to make. Espresso frap. The simple frap that I did enjoy many many times so I do know what the texture and taste should be. Male number 3 looked confused and asked one female named Aicha. Please remember this one and stay away from this one. This is the one really pissed me off and made me make a scene later. My drink came late since the male number 3 did not know how to. When I got mine it was half bubbled and so watery. I asked the male number 3 about my drink the Aicha jumped in and schooled me the order. Scolded at me «go back and wait in line with hight pitched tone just one big mama asked one troubled kit to stay at the corner and D ace the wall. One thing humorous out of this whole thing was there was no line. All got pissed and left. I asked for refund. Then the manager Paula who I did not see as any leader figured who watched the whole scene without any action finally refund after 5 mins. Please stay way from the idiots and specially the Aicha and the so clawed manager Paula. Do not ever expect any solutions from Paula. She is just there breathing and surviving with 5 kids in 3 countries. Thank you.

Since Starbucks has several locations at the Charlotte airport, this one is located by gate C 13. When I walked in, there were two people working and no other customers. One employee was standing by the cash register and the other was mopping the floor. I was hoping the person mopping the floor was not the one that was going to be making my drink. But alas, that’s what happened. The worst part is she did not bother to stop to wash her hands after having mopped the floor and cleaning floor mats. I immediately brought this to her attention and asked her, kindly, to please wash her hands before she made my drink. To this request she just glared at me and then walked over to the sink before essentially running water over her hands with maybe a little bit of soap for a few seconds. Back to the drink with her dripping wet hands, she made my drink and plastered the lid on it with the palm of her hand. Sliding the drink towards me, she made no apology and stated no thank you. Hygiene and manners are important in a business like Starbucks. These traits were glaringly absent in this case. Because of this, I lost my appetite for that drink and promptly tossed it in the nearest trashcan. In deference to Starbucks, I will be back, at another location. Corporate Starbucks said they would follow up on the hygiene issue.

This is one of the better airport StarBucks. They are usually very efficient at getting you through the line and onto your flight, and I never have had them put classic syrup in my Green Tea Latte, my standard request, which is more than I can say for some of the free-standing StarBucks around town. You can get a quick acceptable breakfast or lunch on the run, another plus in a busy airport. Located right outside A security gate to the left: very convenient!

If this Starbucks is too busy for you and you have time between flights, go to the Starbucks around the corner near PZA. It was almost dead in there. I stood in line for about 20 minutes, which I consider good time since the queue wound its way into the neighbouring store. Got my normal order: venti iced green tea latte with soy milk and an asiago bagel with cream cheese. Only took a few more minutes after ordering to get my lunch. They were fast and friendly and didn’t let the stress get to them. :-) The drink was made almost perfectly. Normally, baristas who have never made this drink just dump matcha powder in the cup, pour in milk, and hope for the best. I always get pockets of bitter matcha through my straw. Not pleasant. This one had barely any clumps. Thanks!

I have visited this location multiple times; great staff and service. I prefer the one located 20 steps away between terminal B and A, right after TSA security checkpoint(inside security). This location is located between terminal C and D/E, also right after TSA security checkpoint(inside security). Again, it’s not a bad unit, however the other one has quicker service and friendlier staff. Happy travels!

Such a relief at 3:00am to get a warm beverage and see a little civilization in the desolation of CLT. A special thanks to those that work the 2nd and 3rd shift. I think I would have froze of not for my Starbucks.

This a new Starbucks in the airport. I am usually very happy with the service. I ordered a bagel and I repeated my order twice but was still given a totally wrong order. Time I realized it. I was at the gate and wasn’t planning on dealing with going back. I think maybe it’s in a location that it may be hard to hear . The Starbucks was clean and organized. It was my first experience. I’ll be back. I’m sure it was a freak thing.

It’s a Starbucks, I know but in the hassle and busy of airports it’s easy to have non committal or just plain rude baristas whom are trying to keep up with the frantic pace of travelers just looking for a pick me up between flights. However this location, although it is an in and out location,(meaning no seating) provided me with both my caffinated drink as well as pleasant interactions with several members of this store. Quick and effective, I received my order promptly and with a smile, something I am hard pressed to find in these airport locations. Well Done!

They failed to advertise on their menu– items that were in fact available for purchase. I requested a coffee with no whip cream yet they put whip cream in it.

I’m sitting here trying to come up with what I’m going to say about this place and all I can think of is Lewis Black and his routine surrounding Starbucks… Seriously though, it’s a Starbucks, in an airport. You need caffeine or the standard Starbucks experience while sitting in an airport– you’ve found the right place.

Of course your average Starbucks fare is here, as at every place across the country. What sets an individual location of a chain like Starbucks apart is the quality of their service and the feel of the store. Both are subpar at this particular spot. Long lines out into the terminal because the store is understaffed, and that leads to abrupt, harried staff who in turn provide an unpleasant experience for the guests. There are also unpacked boxes of inventory lining the walls. I know that your bakery items aren’t actually fresh-baked, but I like to keep a little mystery alive as to how those pastries end up in the glass case.

I had time to kill before my flight. There was a long line and they got through us fast! It was good and I sat at a table near an outlet so my phone charged while I people watched and sipped on my coffee!

The usual Starbucks offering, the employees are well trained, efficient and in tune. All of them are well-trained and the place is pretty clean and orderly. Although the line to order sometimes winds around the store and outside, it is usually pretty efficient and quick!

I’m weird because I came to this Starbucks with no intention of buying coffee. I was at the airport and needed to buy a sandwich quickly. None of the other restaurants around here had sandwiches ready-made, so I resorted to Starbucks to feed me for dinner. Unusual, I know, but when you can’t get sandwiches as fast at the stores nearby, sometimes your options are limited to Starbucks. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s just not what most people go to Starbucks for. The staff behind the counter was very helpful with my questions, but the items here are ludicrously expensive. I got two cherry wood ham & swiss sandwiches here for $ 7.99 each, but that’s par for the course at a place like this. They were the largest sandwiches by weight for that price, but I probably could have gone to Quizno’s and gotten warm sandwiches of a comparable quality for a similar price. Starbucks sandwiches are okay, but they’ve been refrigerated and thus are not as appetizing. If you like whatever ingredients they put in these, however, feel free to grab these sandwiches instead. And maybe a cup of coffee as well.

My flight is already delayed. I realize that is not the fault of Starbucks. But anyway I purchased a scone and coffee. And only a scone because there was no toaster or microwave(so i was told) so that removed bagels from my list and they did not have breakfast sandwiches… I didn’t feel like an untoasted bagel. It’s not my thing, sorry… While walking, I could no longer resist the temptation and took a bite of the scone. This scone was quite hard by Starbucks standards, and a little crumb from that first bite found its way down my airway. I was on the people mover and started to choke — the reaction was immediate and uncontrollable. The more I tried to hold it in, the more my eyes and nose welled and I can only believe I had a purple face. When the people mover came to an end it dumped me out at a mass of people already queues for their flight. I felt like a biblical story was unfolding and a part developed in the people sea, other passengers were jumping away and clearing a path from this hacking, watery eyed passenger… I can only believe that they imagined the worst and now all fear they have caught some super bug, and will be in wonder what ailment they have in their captive seat for the next leg of their journey; any sniffle will be the fault of «that one passenger». It was funny, at least I laughed after the tears dried. Except that I did not eat anything further, and that’s not funny — that’s called hungry. TL;DR: The coffee was good. Service fast. Scone hard.

Starbucks is everywhere you go. This location in the CLT airport is fairly small. But service is amazingly fast moving and efficient. I don’t know how the baristas were doing it, but they were happy, friendly, and upbeat all at the same time even with about 30 people in line. Another thing I like about this location, they have different snack choices namely freeze dried fruit. Love it. And they also have a huge selection of calorie laden sickeningly sticky sweets that I somehow managed to ignore.

On the concourse that leads to the D terminal, right net to where you head down the escalators to the E terminal. I’ve been to quite a few Starbucks in my Unilocal life(see the lists) and this one is unlike all of the ones that are«stand-alone» or even inside a supermarket. In the airport, this *$ is all about getting people their coffee and getting them onto a plane. They aren’t encouraging people to hang around and use the wi-fi(which is the airport’s not Starbucks). It’s a outsource operation of some sort here, rather than one run by the proper Starbucks people. They have most of the drinks that are present in other Starbucks, but they don’t do the«short» size. I prefer it because it has just as much coffee, but a lot less milk. Fewer calories, less cost, better taste(if such a thing can be said of Starbucks). They did manage to make my «tall» coffee and get me headed towards the plane quickly. It’s a captive audience(since you can’t bring liquids into the airport) so don’t expect much.

What can I say — it’s Starbucks, the only thing missing here was the knowledge of my usual drink from the baristas at the East Blvd location! This is not the Starbucks located at Checkpoint B — but this one is located going down towards Terminals D & E mixed in with all the shops.
