SkyHouse Uptown

I’m in love with SkyHouse Uptown. I went to many different places downtown to look for a studio and this one was by far the very best. I walked in and Tyler showed me the place. I could tell that he honestly loved it here and took the time to not only answer all of my questions but he also showed me a different model of a studio they had available at the time (just so I didn’t have any doubts). I really appreciate how personable he is! The amenities are kept clean and I love the modern atmosphere. It felt like home right away. I immediately applied for the place and now I’m glad to say that I’m a resident here. All of the concierges are friendly and helpful at any time and any day. They always have warm fresh coffee at the lobby and even snacks for your pet. This place it’s also very secure. I have no complaints and absolutely recommend SkyHouse Uptown for anyone looking to enjoy where they live.

Coming from Greensboro I wanted to move to a nice high-​rise with a view. I called around to the other properties and every one had an overly strict pet policy, but when I spoke to Skyhouse Uptown I was relieved to find out theirs is very liberal. I signed up (everything was handled electronically, nice!) and when I came to view my unit, decided I liked the 1 bedroom layout more than the studio. Again, this was no problem and was handled immediately for me.
I moved in 9÷9÷2015 and so far, the property is fantastic. Sure, not having a parking deck can be a pain, but they offer valet parking (free of charge) for all residents from 6AM-​9AM and then again from 5PM-​8PM. In between those hours you have to park yourself on a reserved level of the parking deck a block away, but they have a cart that will pick you up. No biggie really and will be resolved permanently soon when the parking deck opens.
The units themselves are very, very nice. Beautiful (high quality) hardwoods, granite counter tops, brand new stainless steel appliances (the dishwasher is QUIET) as well as included washers and dryers.
Did I mention you have a choice of 3 TV providers and 3 Internet providers, *2* of which can provide you with affordable 1Gbps connectivity? (AT&T Gigapower or Gigamonster)
The Skydeck on the top of the building is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views of downtown Charlotte, a pool, a lounge with flat screens, plenty of seating, as well as games to play. There is also an outdoor lounge area (it’s huge!) with two grills, a firepit, and plenty of seating — again with fantastic views.
Finally — the staff is top notch. Cyndi, Tyler, and Stephanie will handle all your leasing needs promptly and accurately and the concierge staff (shout out to Brandie!) have yet to not accommodate a need I’ve had.
If you’re looking for an Uptown apartment with great staff and beautiful views, you want to visit Skyhouse Uptown first.

Felt like doing a random new apartment search, pulled up to SkyHouse! Parking for Future Residence had a few construction vehicles parked in the spaces. My friend and I walked in a very crisp designed lobby. There was one leasing agent and two concierges. The leasing agent was with another prospective resident. The concierge greeted us. She proceeded to advise us that it was only one agent on duty. Therefore, we could take a flyer and view floor plans online. The website is on the flyer. Also, we can set up an appointment online, as well.
Now, it’s very strange that it was only one agent for a brand new construction with multiple vacancies and continuos construction. Hence, I felt she could have offered better options to view the property. She let money walk out the door! The location of this property resides in a redevelopment area of Uptown. Still a little sketchy but give it a few years. Hope it was a nice building upstairs… I won’t be looking online to view anything. Best of luck, SkyHouse
