Description

Specialties

With our artistic front room, back patio, and cozy back lounge, Red@28th offers several unique areas for you to unwind from all of life’s stresses and it creates a positive experience that rejuvenates the soul. Red@28th offers a full bar with liquor, beer and wine, as well hookahs with over 20 different flavors. You can ask our hookah gurus or bartenders for their individual specials. We can guarantee they’ll blow your mind with their tasty concoctions! Additionally, we have 3 flatscreen TVs for your viewing pleasure, a jukebox with the latest hits, books, a pool table and other activities including board games, card games and classic arcade games (such as Mrs. Pacman and Galaga). And don’t be shy to strike up a discussion with any of our staff. We love it! Whatever you’re in the mood for, whether it be an epic night out with friends, a relaxing way to forget life’s stresses, or even just someone to discuss philosophies with, chances are we’ve got something to accommodate you.

Meet the Manager

Miriam M.

Manager

Hi. I’m one of Red@28th’s managers (not owner). Been working here since July of 2011. I chose to work here because of the «multicultural» brand which, as a traveler and cultural studies major, really complements my appreciation of other cultures. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors in Latin American Studies and Spanish and will be continuing my studies as a graduate in UNC Charlotte’s Latin American Studies program. I’ve traveled to Western Europe, Mexico and Nicaragua. The reason I say Red@28th is so fitted to me as a person is that we see so many different people from different backgrounds and heritages and it truly is a «multicultural» place. Rich & broke. Young & old. Hispanic, asian, black & white. English speakers & those who speak every language but English. Young professionals (and several well-established), life-long friends, students, families & retirees. Anyone you could imagine I have seen here and I love getting to meet so many wonderfully different people.

«We love Amelie’s just as much as everyone else and we’re lucky enough to have them right across the hall! Amelie’s dessert + Red@28th hookah = heaven!»
