Former Therapist of Massage &NONO, This place was terrible. I started at this place months after graduating from massage school, bad idea. The owner«Alexis Gwen» could not even manage her business or businesses right at all, as she was very shady. She was very unprofessional and I went almost months without getting paid. I was forced to fend for myself. Before I knew it, I was the only massage therapist left. I wouldn’t see her weeks or months at a time. Luckily I had a key to the shop to bring in my own clients. Since she wasn’t bring me any clients. She was no where to be found when it was time to get paid. The only way she was able to get business, was with groupon. Alexis Gwen, was a terrible business owner and I would never in my life transact any business with her. I am glad that she is no longer in business.

I think they have gone out of business –when you called their line is now disconnected. I had my first ever facial here and that was experience was mostly positive. After buying a Groupon for a massage I tried for months to make an appointment and never received a call back.

Was a pain to schedule an appointment. When I showed up, sat in front lobby for 20 min until I was told they didn’t have me on the schedule and the masseuse wasn’t even there. What a joke

Wow, apparently I’m not the only one. I went here once upon check in, the CSR acted like it was a chore to come in from the atrium to check me in. The facial was absolutely awful — the smell of the products were so bad I couldn’t wait for it to stop. I also was not at all relaxed in the noisy space– the open airy warehouse feel without ceilings doesn’t suit a spa because you can hear talking, etc. from every other room. I won’t even get into the fact that they didn’t have my massage room ready in between facial and massage so I had to stand out in the open in a towel holding my stuff. However, the hot stone massage was lovely. It wasn’t the most advanced massage, but hot stones are awesome and I thought it was a good value for the experience. So given that I actually bought a gift card for a future stone massage. However after 5 tries at trying to schedule the damn massage I’ve given up. At first I thought it was personal until I came here and saw the reviews. Hopefully I will be able to get my money back. Here’s some business advice: make it as easy as possible for people to spend money with your establishment.

Hello. I purchased the GroupOn special $ 29 for a 60 min facial or massage. I never was able to actually get my facial due to the unprofessionalism of the staff. I don’t want anyone else to waste their time on this place or receive the atrocious customer service that I did. It’s funny, in a recession where one would think companies would work especially hard to acquire customers and get referrals; this place clearly doesn’t have it together. I will never refer them to anyone and it’s their loss bc I work in an office full of women who were interested in getting facials as well. To sum up my experience w/Massage and Go over the past few weeks, Octavia cancelled on me 2x, both within 60 min of my appt, and she also rescheduled me 1x to better fit her schedule(which I might add, she did not even attempt to conceal.) The first time a woman called sunday at 1:10ish stating that Octavia was in a car accident and couldn’t make the appointment. I was surprised, but understood, expressed my concern as to whether she was ok, and rs for the following sunday which is my only consistent day off. Octavia called me on Monday or Tues of that week I believe and said that she«doesn’t normally work sundays, i was only coming in to accommodate you… so i would like to rs you for another day than sunday.» seriously? Given that fact that I had rescheduled for the following sunday, it certainly made her car accident story from the previous sunday seem fishy and it was apparent she didn’t give a hoot about me as the customer. I ended up rescheduling for today, Monday 21 at 2:00. I left work at 1:00, and got a call at 1:15ish from her… what would you guess, she was cancelling. She said that there was a «problem with the schedule and she would need to rs me, for the inconvenience she would give me a 30 min free facial.» Did she honestly think I would want to work with her after all this? Not only did she never once apologize, or offer any explanation, she then blew me off! I asked to speak w/the manager who she said wasn’t there. I said, «I’m not ok with this, and since your manager isn’t there, I’d like to talk with you and understand what’s going on and why this is being cancelled again.“I arrived at Massage and Go not but 10 min later and there was only a man Dani there. I asked for Octavia and he said she left. She didn’t even have the decency to speak with me and tell me what was going on. I wasn’t rude to her at all despite all the nonsense she put me thru but blowing me off was icing on the cake. He was nice but there wasn’t much he could do beyond offer to call the manager. He did then give me his card and said«I understand if you don’t want to come back here for a massage, I’m mobile so just call me.» Seriously? So, not only was Octavio blatantly rude on the phone but she didn’t even have the courtesy to speak with me and explain what was going on after I had driven over there. I’m a reasonable person, I know things happen and having been a sales rep for 6 years, I also know quality customer service. Her behavior was completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on this company. I left a msg for the manager Alexis and that was about all I could do there. I called Groupon and they were fantastic to work with and the gentleman Louie who I spoke gave superb customer service and helped refund me. So, please don’t write off Groupon, they are a good company to work with but don’t waste your time on Massage and Go.
