NTB – National Tire & Battery

We had bought all our tires at NTB and at every oil change NTB are suppose to rotate your tires. There were coupling on the inner back tires. If they had rotated the tires like they were suppose to they would have recognized it. Instead the manager tells us that we needed new struts and he would not replace the tires until we did that. That estimate was over $ 1,100. We took our Honda Element to our mechanic and he said we did not need new struts that they were not leaking but it only needed an alignment. We told NTB but they wouldn’t go for it & said unless we replaced the struts would they warranty the tires. Well they should have saw earlier in the previous oil change there was a problem if they rotated the tires. So we had our mechanic do the alignment and we got the tires elsewhere and now the vehicle drives beautifully. I hate it when they are trying to either make money off you or don’t know the real problem and don’t do the entire oil change service to recognize early that there is a problem

OK — Came here numerous times when it was Tire Kingdom — Finally burned out on it with the Management attitude (rude & poor) … I came back earlier this year (Now NTB) and had a very good experience !! So — today I bought another one of my «fleet» in for an Oil Change /​tire rotation … Again, Excellent Service — Very fair price — Job done timely (although we discussed the best days are Wednesday /​Thursday — the rest of the week is getting packed — make an appointment !) — This isn’t just a «New Sign» — they dumped old manager and fixed the attitudes !!! So — all in all … I left feeling I was treated fairly.

First time doing business with NTB. Purchased 4 tires, good price. When I called, the gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and expressed his concern for choosing the correct tire rating in regards to safety. All’s well so far. Got the VW Jetta there which requires a special key to remove the tires. A tech went into the glove compartment to retrieve the key. The problem here is that the manager did not train the techs to clean themselves up before entering a customer’s car. Or at least wash their hands. Now, when you get into the front passenger side you get a handful of grease or tire junk on your hands when grabbing the door handle, the storage pocket, or even the windshield post. Unacceptable. A good shop would put a plastic cover on the seats and a paper mat on the floor if a tech needs to sit in the car. Not here. This reminds me of another exact situation with one of Charlotte’s VW dealers. Never did business with that establishment again. That shows how much they really care for their customers.

After a lifetime of terrible experiences with tire stores, I give this an A+!
I went in with my request for two front tires, and that’s what the salesperson sold me. He didn’t try to oversell me on things I didn’t need, or try any such tactics. He reviewed the pricing options with me and didn’t pressure me on this either.
The job was complete in the timeframe and pricing structure that was stated me.

I went for an oil change, inspection, and wiper blades. I couldn’t be happier with the excellent customer service I received! Chris Dillon is the associate who helped me and he took plenty of time explaining each step as it was completed. He also spent time educating me on what services I would need in the near future, so that I could plan for it. I didn’t feel for a moment like he was just trying to sell me because he showed such sincere interest in making sure I understood why the services were important. I’ve been coming to this location for several years and this is, by far, the best experience I have had! I wanted to let you what an incredible job Chris did in helping me! He is an extraordinary member of your team! Thanks for your all the hard work!

Came in for a standard oil change. There was someone up front which I always appreciate when visiting an auto shop. He was friendly and answered all of my questions. I went to the nearby Japanese restaurant and ate as I waited. Service was completed in about 45 minutes. I would return to this location
