This was the worst experience of my life. You have to have zero taste buds to even swallow this food. Which btw all tastes the same. It may look good but each dish has the same bland, tasteless, dog food like quality. I have found another delivery service here in Charlotte which far surpasses this slop. Though not ‘paleo’, it is 100x tastier and more palatable than what I consider this prison food to be. If I could give this slop a zero I would.

I am consistently impressed with the quality and diversity of the recipes — pork, chicken, beef, Thai, German, Southern, spicy, comforting, creative, familiar, ever-​changing, and always impressive. Their chef has it dialed in. (If you get a chance to order the herb pork burger with greens and buttered leeks, you seize that chance and load the freezer!)
I asked, and found their due diligence on local sourcing to be second to none. They evaluate each of the farms on site, right down to what the farmers feed their stock, and monitor things as the farm grows to ensure no «corporate» meat is used to supplement large orders. It’s the real deal. Their operations at their kitchen and their office are awesome. Customer service is available and personal. Shipping is unbelievable, with eco-​friendly materials and responsible packaging even in the food trays.
Hey, no one knows better than me that when you get busy, you will either skip a meal or make a bad food choice. Having some ModPaleo meals on deck means that you make better choices more often. I order several hundred bucks worth at a time — free shipping, and I always have a lunch or dinner ready. I have one for lunch almost every day, and I brought a bunch on vacation with me. It’s much better than trying to track down grass-​fed beef and free range chicken and local vegetables and putting them together. It’s better and cheaper than eating at restaurants too, but with the same or higher quality.
My very highest recommendation: Order them, and get some Paleo excellence FedEx’d right to your doorstep.

Received my first order. The quality and taste is great. I did add a little bit of Sriracha for some spice. I would also like to add that Carol and Amber both went out of their way to ensure my first order arrived after a little confusion. In fact they were standing by to resend my order, at no cost, if the package didn’t arrive in good shape.

The food tasted bland and and un-​inspired, and for the steep price that’s simply unacceptable! I could cook much better food on my own. In this man’s opinion Pete’s Paleo is much better, if you don’t feel like making paleo meals yourself (which isn’t very complicated or hard btw). It’s obvious MP has tried to copy Pete’s Paleo for years, but the one thing they can’t seem to copy is the quality of their food. I wouldn’t waste my money on the bland mess you get from Mod Paleo.

I ordered 5 meals to try. When I first got the box and looked at the meals I was disappointed thinking they don’t look very filling or good. The pics on the website looked better, but I had to remember that it was not a presentation as it was sealed in a plastic tray. I followed the instructions and heated in the oven and then put on a dinner plate. I did add my own sweet potatoe or kale to make it more filling.
The food is delicious. The flavors and yummy and I will definitely be ordering again. I’ve tried 3 of the 5 and would order again for sure. Very fresh and tastes homemade. (I’m a picky eater as my Mom makes everything from scratch)

I finally got around to ordering a trial week of modPALEO meals and my taste buds have been dancing ever since. I can almost hear my stomach thanking me for feeding it such yumminess that is also über-​healthy.
Back story: I’ve been off-​and-​on paleo since last fall and can honestly say that the only thing that held me back from going full-​on paleo is the fact that it is time consuming and difficult to stock healthy, paleo compliant items that are readily available when I’m hungry (which is pretty much constantly). Trying to cook up a bunch of food on a Sunday for the week is okay if you have the time, but what about those weekends when you’re out of town or crazy busy? So basically it came down to a convenience issue for me.
