I recently moved out of this apartment complex to a location closer to uptown. I would have loved to stay at The Marquis, as I had a wonderful experience living here for the last two years. If I ever move back to South Charlotte I will definitely move back here! The location is great, the amenities are really nice, and the grounds well kept. Maintenance always took care of any problems within a day or two, and all of the maintenance guys were super nice. Leasing office staff knew us by name and were always very personable and polite. Very nice apartments; stainless steel appliances, and although I did not have them, they just put in granite counter tops and upgraded lighting/​fans/​etc. Many great things very close by, including The 4-​Mile Greenway, the new Amelies in Carmel Commons Shopping Center, Southpark Mall and Carolina Place Mall, and much more. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a great place to live in South Charlotte.

Was not a pleasant leasing experience. Prior to moving in i really thought the leasing team actually cared and took pride in their leasing complex. As soon as moved in, I heard tons of complaints from my neighbors about the managment as well as some of the details on why the tenant before me moved out… Let’s just say none of it was positive. During my short time there, there was a bunch of turnover with leasing agents and maintenance crew and it was for a reason. I encourage you to speak with the tenants prior to moving in.

We just moved in and have been very impressed with everything. The grounds look great, the apartment is the best bang for your buck, and the sales staff is awesome! Christine made it an awesome and easy transition for us. The complex has great facilities including a gym, pool, recreation area, and that was just for our side of the apartments. There is another section of apartments, that is owned by Marquis, where you can enjoy another pool and facilities. This is a great place to live!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The leasing staff is so friendly — they seem to know everyone by name and are always so accommodating. The maintenance team is great too — very quick to respond. The community is clean and well-​maintained. There is always some kind of event going on — they really strive to make this a great place to call home!

Me and my family have lived here over a year now and LOVE it! The staff is always friendly and courteous, and the maintenance crew is the best I’ve seen! They really don’t treat the place like a typical rental property!

Best apartment community I have ever lived at. Been here for over 5 years since I moved from WI. Great pool, hot tub, gym, pool table, and business center. Its kind of like being at a resort, the grounds are beautiful.
The staff is amazing, and even though they have almost 300 apartments– they still know your name somehow! They have nice events for residents for holidays, super bowls, and fundraisers. When there is a problem, they fix it fast! Package signing is nice, and at Christmas they even called me and asked if I needed them to drop off my package because the office was closing early (just in case it was a present)!
If you have a dog this is where to be, only restriction I know of is 100 pounds. There is a nice dog park and plenty of «poop stations» with biodegradable waste bags. I have never stepped on doggie waste here!
One of the few places I have seen with the option for attached 1 or 2 car garages. I left my garage open by mistake and went out of town for a holiday, they noticed it had been open for a day. They called and asked if i was gone and if they should close it. Now that is service! Giant soaker tub in the bathroom! Plenty of parking.
My only gripe… The WiFi is not always sufficient, does not stay connected in parts of the gym or pool. One gripe isn’t bad… Come check it out!

I have been living here for about, 2 months and love my place! I moved from upstate new York and the process of moving was a bit stressful especially having no idea where I was moving to. The staff here has been outstanding from the beginning. I went through a bunch of apartments and by far this has exceeded my expectations. Kendra has been wonderful helping me feel comfortable. They have community gatherings about 4 times a year so we can meet our neighbors and enjoy all they have to offer. I highly recommend this place.
