Whether you’ve never danced before, just want to dance socially, or have that competitive drive, Piper Glen Ballroom offers the full curriculum of International and American Style Ballroom and Latin dance instruction, including popular dances like salsa, merengue, shag and swing. Our professional instructors make dancing fun and easy to learn. They have all competed at the highest levels of dance, and continue to train with top National and World level Coaches, but most important they can make you the type of dancer you want to be.

History

Established in 2000.

Piper Glen Ballroom originated from the desire of two dancers following a dream. In the beginning of their partnership as competitive dancers, Dimitrijus and Erica began to practice in local gyms and ballet schools. Working around other facilities’ schedules, however, became very difficult, so when the opportunity presented itself, they decided to rent a space to practice and teach. Through hard work and dedication, they developed a studio called Ballroom International, in which they worked and practiced for six years. After developing several competitive students, and enhancing their career as Nationally recognized Professional Competitive Dancers, they decided to take a chance with a larger space. This space would provide more of the amenities they desired for their students, and provide a home for their new found family of instructors. Piper Glen Ballroom became the perfect place to start that new chapter in dance, and we couldn’t be more proud of the family that we have created.

Business Owner

Currently ranked second in the nation and 8^th in the world in the Classical Showdance Division. Dimitrijus and Erica are the owners of Piper Glen Ballroom one of the leading Ballrooms in the South East and ranked in the top 10 ballroom dance studios in the nation including Canada.

Along with their passion to dance comes their passion to teach. Dima says «Teaching gives me the opportunity to share one of the greatest things in my life.» They hope, as the owners of Piper Glen Ballroom, that they are able to share with others the same joy that dancing brings to them.
