Explore Charlotte, NC’s craft beer scene with Charlotte Brew Tours by joining one of our upcoming tours. The local tour guide/​craft beer expert provides a history of Charlotte Brewing and guides the tour groups on our charter bus to 4 breweries for behind the scenes tours, lessons in the different beer styles and brewing techniques from the brewers, and 1 Free Pint of Beer and samples at each brewery. Public Tours are conducted on Saturday afternoons beginning at 1:30pm and ending at 6pm (average tour group size is 12 people). Private Tours are available for groups of 8 – 30 people and are great for special events and celebrations. Tour guests can shop for their tour tickets at the Charlotte Brew Tours website.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael P.

Business Owner

Michael P, Beer Server Certified Cicerone, has worked in the food and beverage industry since he was a teenager and received his introduction to craft beer while working at Cottonwood Brewery in Boone, NC in the late 1990’s. In 2003, Michael was drawn to Charlotte, NC by his desire to be a part of the exciting restaurant scene in Uptown Charlotte. Since relocating to Charlotte, Michael has worked with Dandelion Market as Bar Manager and Ri Ra Irish Pub as Bartender. Both restaurants feature reputable beer programs, Dandelion Market focuses on Local, NC, and American craft beer and Ri Ra Irish Pub focuses on an expansive European beer selection. In 2012, Michael recognized the need to provide an educational based experiential brewery tour to visitors and residents because of the fantastic craft beer scene that the city already had and plans for more breweries to join the scene.
