Geez Louise. Talk about a lovely customer service department. I called them up asking them to give me a second opinion quote that could have got them potentially thousands in business. But the service lady who picked up the call was adamant that she would be charging $ 89 for each unit.
Long story I have 2 units and both have different problems. I know what the problems are because I have written quotes from different companies. All I wanted was a second opinion. In spite of explaining this to the lady there she was adamant on charging the $ 89 fee for each unit. I offered to pay her for the one because paying for two is ridiculous but she wouldn’t listen.
If this is the level of support before doing the work you can imagine how it would be after or during work. So much for custome r support.

A consultant came to my home to replace my HVAC and I was very pleased with what Adams had to offer. Their prices are very competitive and fair. I decide to go with Adams after getting quotes from three other companies. Their sales consultant was the most courteous and professional out of everyone that came out to my house. He treated my home with respect, he put on shoe covers the moment he got in the door, he even took time to play with my two dogs while he was out in the yard taking a look at my air conditioning unit. The installation was done in a timely manner. The two mechanics I had out at the house were very polite and did a fantastic job. I believe one of their names was Danny, he was excellent. I hope that I don’t ever have to go through this type of purchase again, but if I do I will make sure to give Adams HVAC a call!

This review is about Adams Heating & Air’s poor quality of service in assembling the unit and refusal to correct their poor work.
I purchased a gas hot water heater through PSNC. The heater was placed in an Aqua Hut containment unit that was purchased from Adams Heating & Air. Here is the assembling instructions that were provided by Adams Heating & Air to the licensed professional Adams Heating & Air tasked with assembling their product.
According to the US Patent Office, the patent on the AquaHut is owned by the owner of Adams Heating & Air Conditioning. In addition, both AquaHut and Adams Heating & Air are located at 600 Morris St., Charlotte, NC 28 202.

On Friday, July 12, 1991, a U.S. federal trademark registration was filed for AQUA HUT by ADAMS HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC., Charlotte, NC 28 202. The USPTO has given the AQUA HUT trademark serial number of 74 184 154. The current federal status of this trademark filing is REGISTERED AND RENEWED.
Adams Heating & Air places their logo and contact information on the AquaHut. So, when the AquaHut destroyed my hot water heater, I contacted Adams Heating & Air. I was told that they do not accept any responsibility for the unit that I bought from them (and which has their name on the front of the unit). They provided no service or assistance with their defective product.
Make no mistake about it — Adams Heating and Air own AquaHut (per the US Patent Office). There is no separate office for AquatHut. And when I called the phone number Adams Heating & Air gave me (their customer) on the front of the AquaHut, they ignored me and told me that they have no responsibility.
Adams wants my review off Unilocal because they say that they are not AquaHut. That is blatantly false. They are the same company and they continue to ignore my consumer complaints. A complaint is pending against both Adams and AquaHut with the US DOJ.
And I thank the owners of Adams/​patent holder of AquaHut for the admission that the only way that the unit would have been infested with animals is if it was assembled wrong. The assembly of the AquaHut was performed by the agents of Adams Heating & Cooling. That is why the Adams Heating & Cooling logo is on the front of the unit. I have passed the information on to the state of North Carolina (who is investigating the case) and The US DOJ.
MY REVIEW: This company has the patent and distributes AquaHut steel enclosures used to convert «indoor only use» hot water heaters into outdoor water heaters. I purchased a hot water heater through PSNC and the AquaHut hot water enclosure was a force sale by PSNC. The water heater and the AquaHut were sold as one bulk sale unit. The AquaHut enclosure unit was flimsy, cheap and ruined the integrity of the gas hot water heater. Animals got inside the unit, tore down the flimsy insulation provided with the AquaHut. Adams company told me that they do not accept any responsibility for damage to the hot water heater. Industry experts that sell hot water heaters told me that the AquaHuts are not adequate quality to save hot water heater warranty’s that limits installation to indoor only. And, the specific water heater company whose unit was sold with the AquaHut said they did not approve of the bulk sale. My warranty was void as soon as PSNC installed the unit outside.
