Description

Specialties

The finest USDA grade A, muscle cut meat around. You won’t find our meat on the shelves of gas stations because we don’t want our product around the other brands that sell jerky with ingredients you can’t pronounce. With our buffalo jerky you will be getting buffalo, not mixed with beef, chicken, and whatever else you can imagine, just buffalo. So come try our meats! Beef, Turkey, Buffalo, Venison, Elk, Ahi, Salmon, Mako Shark, Snapping Turtle, Wild Boar, Kangaroo, Pineapple jerky, Brisket, Pork, Rainbow Trout, Biltong, and Bacon!

History

Established in 2015.

Company Founded: 1993

Jerky is intricately tied to the Old West with traders and explorers using it as an essential food item. Today, jerky is a popular and nutritious snack. House of Jerky’s products are low in calories, fat and cholesterol, but high in protein and great flavor!

About 20 years ago, Ron and Janie knew they had a great product. Superior jerky quality, top round slices, variety of flavors and meats, and excellent customer service. It started as roadside sales that expanded to a 100 square foot store, and today there are about 28 stores nationwide on both East and West of the Mississippi. House of Jerky does not franchise the stores; rather they offer ownership opportunities and use of the name in conjunction with sales of their product. The Jerky product also expanded from only offering three flavors of beef to multiple flavors for 18 different meats.

Business Owner

Grew up in California most of my life and inspired to be a «jerky man» since I was 8. Moved out to Charleston because of the Navy and fell in love with the city and decided to stay after my honorable discharge. Now have the opportunity to bring the best jerky to Charleston.
